We’re seeking a Category Management Analyst to lead sales analytics across our business and deliver actionable insights that drive brand and category growth. Based in our Seattle office, this role requires exceptional analytical skills and the ability to craft compelling, data-driven narratives. As a highly visible position, the Category Management Analyst will work closely with the sales team to play a pivotal role in driving growth through strategic, actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Build comprehensive presentations with compelling data visualizations to share insights and recommendations internally and in customer reviews.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to create actionable insights and identify growth opportunities.
- Lead promotional effectiveness analysis to optimize trade spend and drive incremental sales.
- Utilize a variety of data sources and advanced analytics tools to answer key business questions and interpret sales and market data.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with data suppliers to ensure access to relevant tools and information.
- Champion forward-thinking approaches, integrating and refining new tools to drive sustainable growth and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Food Marketing, or a related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in category management, sales analytics, insights, or a related field within the CPG industry.
- Strategic thinker with a proven ability to connect insights to business strategy and decision-making.
- Growth mindset with a passion for learning and teaching.
- Thrives in dynamic, lean, and agile environments, with a track record of completing projects on time through excellent cross-functional team management, leadership, communication, and influence.
- Self-starter who takes initiative, speaks their mind, and contributes proactively to business goals.
- Experience working with syndicated data sources, distributor portals, and household panel data within CPG industry.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and other relevant tools to create professional presentations.

Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $95,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
