QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy, specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy, national registration and state licensure, previous marketing experience, solid experience in custom splinting, CPR certification, and valid state driver’s license.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide high-quality hand therapy services, including treating upper extremity disorders and custom splinting, in a supportive environment with educational opportunities.
Position: Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
Location: St. Augustine, FL
Schedule: Part-time (Up to 30 hours weekly) or PRN
Compensation: Starting at $47.00/hour (pending experience)
We are seeking a certified hand therapist (CHT) to join our team!
In this role, you’ll treat various upper extremity disorders including tendon injuries, sprains, strains, post-operative fractures and more. Experience in custom splinting is required.
Our regional hand therapy coordinator will work with you to ensure you have everything you need to succeed.

- Responsible for the evaluation, plan of care, treatment, re-evaluation, discharge, and appropriate communications of high quality hand therapy services to patients and customers.
- Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment programs.
- Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
- Stay current and up to date with Occupational Therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception).
- Graduate of an accredited school for occupational or physical therapy
- Hold specialty certification or licensure in hand therapy
- National registration and state licensure or registration rquired
- Previous,demonstrated marketing experience
- Solid experience in application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- CPR certification
- Valid state driver’s license
