SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Coca-Cola Summer Internship program offers a 9–10-week experience focused on Channel Strategy and Operations, allowing interns to work on projects that merge strategy and operations in a dynamic team environment.
The Coca-Cola’s Summer Internship program is a 9–10-week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The Channel Strategy and Operations intern role will be part of our Commercial Strategy and Operations team and be responsible for working with our direct team and cross functional business partners to enhance our commercialization capabilities and the effectiveness of our marketing programs with retailers. This role is a great opportunity to see first-hand where strategy meets operations. This role will have 1-2 projects to complete over the course of the summer, project details will be provided at the beginning of the internship.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Create a more streamlined storyline by retail channel to enhance the system’s knowledge of our retail channel strategy (Grocery, Mass, Value, Drug, Convenience, Club, eCommerce) strategies.
Develop training aids/tools to assist in the commercialization of channel strategy.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to get input along the journey.
Develop communication plan within our framework.
Identify gaps in our current timelines and barriers/potential solutions to these gaps.
Use data and insights to assist with sell in or implementation of channel initiatives.
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Business Management or similar degree and not graduating before December 2025.
Functional Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Products, especially PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Team player, adept at collaboration
Innovative Thinking
Technical Aptitude: Learn and effectively use information/business tools and platforms to obtain and analyze relevant information
Preferred Functional/Technical Skills:
Strong analytical and data visualization skills
Brand/Marketing Knowledge
eCommerce/Digital Marketing, and/or Digital Shelf experience
Monthly Salary: $4,506
