Redaptive Inc. seeks a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to drive product strategy and business growth, aligning innovative solutions with market demands to achieve sustainability goals.

Our mission is to help organizations achieve their sustainability goals through advanced technology and comprehensive energy management strategies. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our executive team as the Chief Product Officer (CPO).

The Chief Product Officer (CPO) will be responsible for owning and developing the product P&Ls, solution growth, and market fitness by driving the overall product strategy and ensuring the success of Redaptive's product portfolio.

This executive leadership position will be critical in driving our business strategy and shaping the future of our products and services, aligning them with market demands and our strategic goals. The CPO will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

    • Oversee the business strategy function and strategic planning process and facilitate alignment of organization strategies among all business functions.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with Redaptive's vision, mission, and business objectives.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market and product marketing strategies for new product launches, updates to existing products, and market expansions.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify and define market opportunities and provide insights for product development, marketing, and sales.
    • Drive product positioning, messaging, and collateral to ensure consistency and clarity, working closely with marketing and regional teams to tailor it to local markets while maintaining global standards. Drive initiatives that enhance market awareness and perception of our products.
    • Design and develop the tools, product training, and resources for our customer-facing and sales teams to ensure a successful product launch and delivery, including marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and best practices.
    • Support the productization of a digital marketplace approach to enable customer/partner commerce.
    • Responsible for ensuring our products win in the market. Must have an expert view of TAM, competitive analysis, strategic differentiation, and margin, and articulate why we’ll win to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Establish and manage a process for capturing customer feedback to inform new products, enhancements, and positioning.
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, sales, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth, maximize gross margin, and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Assess partnership opportunities to expand market reach and drive customer acquisition.
    • Represent the company as a thought leader in the EaaS and Data Solutions space, participating in industry events, conferences, and customer engagements. Build strategic relationships with industry leaders, technology partners, and strategic partners to drive product innovation and market leadership.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team.

Required Abilities and Skills

    • Ability to develop and implement GTM strategies and execution across multiple product lines, customer segments, and geographies.
    • Experience in B2B marketing, with a strong understanding of the entire product lifecycle.
    • Strong business acumen and understanding of the energy market dynamics, competition, and trends.
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with customers, partners, and other external stakeholders at various hierarchy levels, from C-level executives to technical individuals.
    • Strategic thinker with a data-driven and customer-centric approach to product development and decision-making.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education and Experience

    • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
    • 15+ years of experience in product management/growth management, with a proven track record of successful product launches and growth.
    • Experience leading strategic planning and alignment.
    • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching global product marketing and GTM plans and leading cross-functional teams, ideally in EaaS or data solutions.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and regions. Comfortable with fast-paced environments and able to work with imperfect information.
    • Experience in sustainability or energy sectors preferred.

    • Up to 25% of travel time expected for the position.
