SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Cinema Account & Marketing Manager to connect sales, marketing, and customer success, supporting promotional initiatives and maintaining client relationships while overseeing day-to-day account activities.
We are seeking a Cinema Account & Marketing Manager who can provide ongoing support to our clients, network with them and assist in promotional initiatives. This position will be the bridge between sales, marketing and customer success by overseeing the day-to-day account activities of RealD’s partners, as well as work on creative campaigns. The Cinema Account & Marketing Manager is required to provide general customer relationship management, and support marketing efforts.
The position has a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days per week in our Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support VP Sales for all cinema customers in United States, Canada, Mexico, Latin Americas, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
- Consistent customer outreach to update contacts, changes of ownership, cinema closures.
- Work with legal to create contracts/amendments due to ownership change, new customer, or closure of cinemas.
- Work with Ops to send equipment and return of systems.
- Work closely with AR to set up new customer accounts, determine account status of existing customers when issues arise, troubleshoot any customer issues and customer outreach as necessary.
- Establish contact with customers and present updated terms through calls, video meetings, and email communication.
- Support VP Sales for any top tier customer needs (including retrieval of contracts, preparing contract terms outline, 3D performance analysis).
- Support VP Marketing on all films and branding for domestic and international marketing efforts.
- Aid in film marketing strategies and execution of promotions with studio and exhibition.
- Maintain exhibitor/customer contact sheet of marketing contacts. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Ops and Tech on curating newsletter distributed to exhibitors.
- Support digital marketing efforts, including website, social postings, influencer outreach and exhibitor platforms.
- Attend film screenings, press junkets, trade shows and other industry events. Conduct interviews, when necessary, with filmmakers and talent. Some travel is required.
- Provide light office duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with and team effectively with management, business units, and external advisors.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving issues with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficiency in creative and visual design.
- Adept at content creation, copyrighting, conducting interviews and presenting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with brand image and promoting value through customer experience.
Required Knowledge / Skills:
- 4+ years with client facing communication.
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferred.
- Multinational company experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Rush.
- Interview & presentation skills is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communication is preferred.
The target salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000/year dependent on experience. Discretionary bonus potential. Other benefits include 401K match, insurance (medical, dental, vision), paid time off and more.
