SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Client Account Manager role focuses on serving existing customers by identifying their technology needs, providing tailored solutions, and collaborating with a pre-sales team to ensure success without the pressure of new business hunting.

Who we are
COURSER is a partnership platform that helps technology service companies identify and take the next step in growth. Our organization has a strong company culture built on our values of Teamwork, Service, Growth-Minded, Trust, and Innovative. Our team dedicates their time working together to provide phenomenal experience for our customers. Be ready to join a fast-paced, ever-evolving IT company that is bringing on new customers and team members to continue strong growth into the future.

Client Account Manager

Do you enjoy selling but hate cold calling, hunting for new business, and constantly worrying about where your next deal is going to come from? Do you love to work on behalf of customers to help them solve problems? Do you enjoy technology but you're not necessarily a "super tech"? Want to work at an organization that invests in you every single day? If this sounds like you, then you need to apply for this Account Manager position at RADER!

In this role, you will work with existing RADER customers (no cold calling!). You will listen to their challenges and business needs to map them to our existing service offerings. You will work with clients to assess their existing technology, identify gaps, and create roadmaps and budgets. (You'll have a technical pre-sales person working alongside you - so you don't need to be a tech genius - you just need to genuinely love technology!) You will work with customers over the phone and in-person, so you'll need to be very personable, outgoing, an excellent communicator, and a stickler for detailed notes and follow-ups.

Of course, you'll need to work with our CRM system to log opportunities, activities, and follow ups. Most importantly, you'll need to share our core values of Trust, Teamwork, Service, Innovation and Growth. If you are not a lifelong learner - this isn't the right role for you. BUT, if you're still interested, here's the nitty gritty!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with existing customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands.
  • Work with our customer alignment tools to help customers identify gaps in their existing technologies, create business and technical roadmaps for the coming 12 months, and associate a budget to the roadmap.
  • Cross-selling services and solutions to existing accounts.
  • Map customer needs to the existing product and service catalog.
  • Qualify, quote, and close new sales opportunities for current customers.
  • Receive requests for service and product details from customers while providing timely responses.
  • Conduct on-site or online presentations for customers.
  • Work with pre-sales to develop proposals and quotes based on best practices.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions.
  • Maintain in-depth product knowledge (focused on business outcomes, not technology) - with a commitment to learn new things each week.
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in our CRM while remaining compliant with our policies and procedures.
  • Attend weekly sales training and sales meetings.
  • Manage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, lease agreements and service level agreements.
Key Qualifications:
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • We expect our team members to serve our customers and each other to provide phenomenal experiences both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and margins.
  • Professional appearance and telephone skills.
  • Must have current driver's license and vehicle.
Preferred Experience:
  • Relevant certifications in account management or sales (e.g., Certified Account Manager (CAM), Customer Success Certification).
  • Experience in [specific industry relevant to the company, e.g., SaaS, IT services, healthcare].
  • Knowledge of digital sales and customer service tools, including email marketing, social media platforms, and data analytics.
