Client Finance Manager
LOCATION
Hybrid with offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Manchester (UK), and London (UK).
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in Client Finance or FP&A with managerial experience preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; strong analytical skills; excellent communication abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee client project financials, collaborate on strategic financial plans, ensure compliance and timely invoicing, manage accounts receivable and collections, lead the Client Finance team, and provide ad hoc support for special projects.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Client Finance Manager to lead the financial management of a division, drive financial strategies for growth, and optimize financial performance within a dynamic healthcare marketing organization.
- Lead and Manage Financial Operations: Oversee client project financials, including project setup, budget management, revenue rule setup, and maintenance. Ensure financial operations align with company objectives and client needs.
- Strategic Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic financial plans. Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business growth.
- Invoicing and Compliance: Ensure timely client billing and compliance with contractual agreements. Lead the preparation of invoicing trackers and financial health reports.
- Audit and Documentation: Oversee the management and organization of SOW/PO documentation for audit compliance. Ensure all financial records are accurate and accessible.
- Accounts Receivable and Collections: Lead the Accounts Receivable (AR) process, ensuring effective collections and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop Client Finance Analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide support to Finance Directors and other senior leaders on special projects and initiatives as needed. a
- Experience: 5+ years in Client Finance, FP&A, or related fields, with demonstrated experience in a managerial role. Experience with enterprise-level financial systems is essential; NetSuite/Open Air experience is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading teams, managing projects, and delivering results. Ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Communication Skills: Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
