SHORT DESCRIPTION
Dynamic Clinical Liaison responsible for building connections with potential residents and referral sources to maximize census levels at the facility.
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Liaison to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering meaningful connections with potential residents, referral sources, and the community to help achieve and maintain maximum census levels at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with medical professionals, senior organizations, hospitals, and community groups through outside sales calls, education, and follow-ups.
- Identify niche marketing opportunities within the community to expand our referral base and grow new business while retaining existing partnerships.
- Professionally manage referrals and inquiries, ensuring a seamless and courteous experience for potential residents and their families.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Facility Controller, and Administrator to make informed decisions about admissions.
- Train and coordinate in-house staff to handle inquiries, conduct tours, and complete admissions paperwork.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement processes.
- Track and analyze inquiry, admission, and census trends, preparing detailed reports such as the Monthly Inquiry Summary and daily logs.
- Build and manage a database of community resources and medical contacts while staying informed about industry trends and regulations.
- Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements that highlight the facility’s services.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales and community relations experience preferred.
- Clinical background (e.g., RN, LVN, EMT) strongly preferred.
- Previous healthcare community sales experience a plus.
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with reimbursement programs from payor sources is a plus.
- Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software applications.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Formal sales training, team building, and adult training experience preferred.
- Experience in advertising, collateral design, and production is beneficial.
- Ability to attend meetings, deliver presentations, and engage prospective referrals outside the facility.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a creative mindset and self-confidence.
- Regular attendance and professionalism are required.
