Clinical Business Development Manager to develop and cultivate relationships between physicians, patients, and healthcare organization staff members, forming long-term partnerships to increase referrals and gain market share.
This is a full-time or Part Time on-site role for a Clinical Business Development Manager. As a Clinical Business Development Manager, the primary objective of is to develop and cultivate relationships between physicians, patients, different referral sources and a variety of healthcare organization staff members (Case Managers, Social Workers, Referral Nurses etc.) as well as other potential businesses and clients.
Clinical Business Development Manager is responsible for forming, growing, and maintaining long-term partnerships with physicians, medical specialty groups, other clinical groups and potential referral sources to increase referrals and gain market share. Clinical Business Development Manager work together Clinical and Non-Clinical team to implement sales and marketing strategies that ultimately drive volume through measurable relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between referring practices and operations team to ensure physician practices and patients are onboarded properly and have a positive experience at every contact with IVCare Infusion
- Interact and Call on physicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners and other healthcare professionals in hospital, offices, and clinic settings to facilitate patient discharge and coordinate patient care.
- Interact directly with patients in hospitals or clinics when applicable to provide details of our services and answer their questions.
- Develop and execute tactical plans to grow infusion business. This will include maintenance of existing referral sources, prospecting and cold calling on new potential referral sources.
- Be held accountable for meeting a defined market infusion revenue budget by servicing and growing both existing business and gaining new market share.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling
- Increase new patient encounters by identifying potential referral sources, seeking out strategic partnerships, and attending local events within the community
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth within the assigned territory
- Identify and prospect potential healthcare providers, including medical practices, clinics, hospitals, and specialty healthcare centers
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to drive referrals and increase patient volumes
- Conduct presentations and educational in-services to healthcare providers, showcasing services and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, provide timely feedback to management, and contribute to the development of competitive sales strategies

- Develop collaborative working relationships with all pharmaceutical counterparts and their respective therapeutic classes.
- Proactively identify new opportunities with prospective customers and develop relationships with them
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current products, services, pricing, and promotions offered by IVCare Infusion
- Assist in developing company strategies to drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies
