As an Account Manager, you will be the main contact for our clients. You will build relationships with your team and clients while assisting them with customer service and ensuring their needs are met. You will have continuous learning and development opportunities to work towards your career goals.

Your job responsibilities as an Account Manager:

As an Account Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. You are the facilitator of positive and effective relationships with our valued clients and insurance carrier staff. As the point-of-contact, you will assist the team by managing a book of commercial accounts, including marketing to carriers, preparing quotes and proposals, quickly responding to policy inquiries (email, phone), maintaining renewal controls on expirations and binders, checking policies/endorsements/audits for accuracy, and maintaining accurate and organized account files.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Two to four years of experience related to commercial lines account management is preferred.
  • Experience with Epic and other insurance-related software preferred.
  • Earned and ability to maintain state property and casualty insurance license required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications.
  • Knowledge of insurance agency operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Must be thorough, detail-oriented, and is responsible for working with confidential information.
  • Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
