Cayuga Health has an immediate opening for a Communications and Marketing Specialist with experience in branding, video production, photography, events, and social media to join our award-winning team with opportunities for advancement. Qualified candidates will possess in-depth knowledge and experience in all aspects of marketing. This position reports to the System Director of Marketing and will work with clinical service lines and support departments within Cayuga Health, as well as a large multi-disciplinary physician practice, integrated provider network and two hospital foundations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project management and development of content for various communications tools including web, promotional materials, videos, photography, tradeshows, presentations, brochures, graphics, posters, product information sheets, etc.
- Plan events and engage community through outreach initiatives
- Media relations contact during events and activities
- Support internal departments with goals and initiatives
- Assist with web content development and management
- Assist with graphic design projects
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related major
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency with video production and photography
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications
- Interest and experience in health equity, population health, social health determinants, and community partnerships
- Experience with Wordpress
- Knowledge of major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Compensation Disclosure:
- $28.75 to $32.50 per hour
