Communication Specialist

Job Summary:

Radley Run Country Club is seeking a Communications Specialist. This role is responsible for all internal and external Club communications in support of RRCC’s overall mission and strategic direction. This is a new position reporting to the General Manager (GM) and working with all department managers to establish and maintain all aspects of communication; enhancing the member experience and fostering a positive employee culture. This individual will continually seek new and innovative ways to engage members and employees through various communication channels promoting a positive public Image and control the dissemination of information. As part of the RRCC team, employees operate on a variety of different schedules throughout the entire week; therefore, nights and weekends are occasionally expected and required in this role.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

● Develop annual marketing and communications plan

● Establish brand standards and maintain consistent messaging across all mediums.

● Produce all internal and external Club communications, working as an in-house designer for club print and digital marketing materials.

● Create, edit, and proof all Club communications.

● Complete website and mobile app updates.

● Creates social media livestream and posts, monitor and respond to comments in partnership with the GM (as needed).

● Troubleshoot member issues with club communications

● Create and maintain for new and existing members on how to access, register and use the current communications platforms (Member Website login, Fortees and Clubster to drive member engagement)

● Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness and reach of club communications; conduct an annual assessment of current communications strategies and mediums.

● Continually seek and evaluate opportunities to improve communication and engagement, leveraging new technology and expanding digital content.

● Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other individuals in contact (members) during the course of work; communicating clearly and concisely

Qualifications

Technical Skill Requirements:

● Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Canva or similar platforms )

● Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

● Experience with Websites, Social Media and other forms of communication

● Photography and videography at special functions for social media and special projects as needed; edits photographs and videos

Education and Experience:

● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field

● 2 years of paid full time related job experience in a marketing and design position Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

● Excellent written verbal and communication skills

● Strategic and creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail

● A portfolio of work available for review

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
