In this role, you'll be part of an innovative team, creating engaging content and developing strategies to raise awareness of SLHA's programs and services among current and prospective residents, landlords, and community partners. This internship is perfect for a motivated self-starter eager to learn and make a positive impact for individuals and families in need of affordable housing.
Who We're Looking For
- Effective Communicator: Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Influencer Marketing Knowledge: Familiar with influencer marketing trends and social media outreach
- Creative Tool Master: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Canva
- Social Media Savvy: Comfortable with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Photography Enthusiast: Experience with photography, plus video and photo editing skills to bring stories to life
- Independent Go-Getter: Able to work independently and take initiative on projects.
- Integrity and Compliance: Maintains confidentiality and adheres to organizational policies
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging marketing materials to increase awareness of SLHA's programs, services, and community outreach initiatives
- Contribute to the planning, organization, and execution of video projects
- Identify and document inspiring resident success stories
- Support the research, development, writing, and editing of content for both internal and external communications materials
- Support special events focused on resident and community engagement
- Perform additional duties as needed
