Compensation Range: $50.00 - 56.34 per hour
We're seeking a strategic and dynamic Communications Manager to support the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Office. In this role, you'll guide the development and execution of internal communications initiatives that align with DEI goals, collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to celebrate cultural moments, and provide corporate communications support for the DEI program. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure integrated messaging across platforms, manage DEI content for Town Halls, and maintain key resources on company sites. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through strategic communication and creative collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the development and execution of internal communications initiatives that support the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Office.
- Provide communications expertise and support for DEI Office to enact the DEI strategy and goals of the Office.
- Coordinate and provide communications consultation and guidance across network of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to recognize and celebrate important cultural and business moments.
- Lead Corporate Communications & Marketing support for the DEI Program, partnering to build a communication strategy and plan that supports the Program vision and strategy.
- Align with various DEI Program workstreams to provide timely updates to organization on key initiatives.
- In collaboration with the DEI Program, ERGs, and HR lead the design and execution of campaigns to honor and recognize cultural moments tied to our business activities in a meaningful manner.
- Work with External Communications and Corporate Brand & Marketing teams to ensure the integration of initiatives and key messaging across platforms and channels.
- Plan and develop content for company Town Halls with a relevant DEI focus.
- Provide strategic communications support to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to communicate their events and activities highlighting how they support the business and the communities served.
- Partner and collaborate with the PBS Change and Communication liaison to ensure DEI message is consistently integrated across Talent and Human Resources communications.
- Oversee DEI pages on internal and external company sites ensuring they are consistently updated with the most relevant and compelling resources and content.
- Maintain list of key awareness days, months, and holidays.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of communications efforts of departments outside of Corporate Communications & Marketing; ensures voice, tone, and cadence are appropriate.
- Collaborate with team members within the Corporate Communications & Marketing team to pull through messages externally and internally.
- Partner and collaborate with the PBS Change and Comms liaison to ensure an integrated message in partnership with Talent and broader PBS comms.
- Contributes creative solutions to various projects across the department (i.e., video storyboards, departmental spotlight campaigns, town halls, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Minimum six years of experience in internal communications.
- Experience in DEI communications.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
- Ability to accomplish objectives resourcefully and with minimal supervision.
- Quality and accuracy of deliverables.
- Strong project management skills and accountability for results.
- Ability to work within a rigorous editorial and governance process.
- Ability to multi-task and manage complex issues.
- Ability to adapt and thrive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
