Communications Specialist - Peds Id

• Content Creation: Writes, edits, and designs materials such as brochures,
  newsletters, press releases, social media posts, and website content to educate
  about HIV prevention, treatment, and program services.
• Develops and implements communication strategies to increase awareness,
  educate the community, and promote the program’s services.
• As needed, interprets requests, helps implement action, and decides who should
  be notified of important or emergency matters.
• Oversees and establishes information and public relations campaigns to facilitate
  the dissemination of information in the division and community.
• Tracks and evaluates the effectiveness of communication strategies using
  appropriate metrics. Report outcomes and insights to leadership, adjusting
  strategies to improve impact.
• Assists with special projects as assigned (i.e., conferences and meetings)

$51,000 to $60,500 annually depending on education and experience.

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Business or related field, with
  four years of operational experience in a hospital or medical facility similar specialty.

This is a time-limited position. Time limited positions are based on circumstances, such as funding sources, which control the length of time for which the position is available.
