Role Overview
We are seeking someone who is a skilled marketer and a genuine ambassador of values and vision for community impact.
As our Community Marketing and B2B Lead, you'll serve as a key ambassador of our firm, leveraging your marketing expertise to forge authentic relationships, organize impactful events, and ensure our dedication to giving back resonates genuinely with the public. This role requires a strategic marketer who understands the nuances of professional services branding, particularly within the legal sector, and can translate our firm's values into meaningful community engagement.
Marketing Leadership & Strategic Impact
The ideal candidate will succeed in marketing and brand management, particularly in professional services or legal sectors. You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align community outreach with business growth
- Creating measurable campaigns that strengthen our brand presence while delivering authentic community value
- Managing substantial marketing and community engagement budgets with proven ROI tracking
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with community organizations, media outlets, and business leaders
- Viewing every activity as a potential branding opportunity: always considering how every interaction, event, or initiative can reflect and promote the firm's brand and values. Whether it's choosing the right swag, designing an event giveaway, or interacting with community and referral partners, every action is seen through how it impacts the firm's image.
- Proactively seeking ways to promote the firm: Actively looking for opportunities to raise awareness of the firm's community involvement and legal services. This could mean identifying new sponsorship opportunities, pitching stories to local media, or finding creative ways to engage with the community online.
- Understanding the importance of consistency and messaging: ensuring that all marketing and communication efforts are aligned with the firm's brand identity and core messages. Being consistent in how the firm presents itself across all channels and platforms.
- Creativity and innovation: Thinking outside the box to develop new and effective ways to engage with the community and build relationships with referral sources. It also means being willing to experiment with new marketing tactics and strategies.
- Measuring and evaluating results: Tracking the effectiveness of marketing and community engagement initiatives and using data to inform future decisions. This ensures that the firm's resources are used effectively and the marketing strategy achieves its desired outcomes.
B2B Relationship Building
In addition to community engagement, this role will require building and nurturing professional relationships within the legal and business communities. This includes:
- Identifying and establishing connections with potential referral sources, such as other attorneys, medical professionals, and relevant businesses.
- Developing and implementing co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners.
- Representing the firm at industry events and networking functions.
- Maintaining consistent communication and providing value to referral partners.
Resource Management & Accountability
You'll be entrusted with significant resources, including:
- A dedicated budget for community initiatives and marketing activities requiring strategic allocation and detailed tracking
- A firm-provided, logo-wrapped vehicle for community events and partner visits (requires maintaining a pristine driving record and understanding your role as a constant brand ambassador)
- Autonomy in decision-making regarding community investments and partnerships, balanced with fiscal responsibility and strategic alignment
Required Experience & Expertise
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Demonstrated success in community-focused marketing roles, with specific examples of:
- Managing and growing brand presence across multiple channels
- Developing and executing community engagement strategies with measurable outcomes
- Building and maintaining strategic partnerships
- Managing substantial budgets
- Thorough understanding of Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers' brand position, community initiatives, and market presence
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proven track record of prudent financial decision-making in marketing and community engagement roles

- Attribution (primary or secondary) for conversions identifying community presence as a factor in choosing us

- Development of and adherence to budget :
- Ensuring that we have a strong giving presence at events in a manner that doesn’t waste resources (e.g., buying bulk, high-end Halloween candy for children at a bulk rate versus having an Instacart delivery from a local grocery store or ordering one color well-designed shirts from a screen-printer for $6.00 apiece versus three color shirts from a company for $15 apiece)
Maximizing Community Impact: We aim to make fiscally responsible choices that maximize our impact on the community. We aim to support a wide range of causes and build meaningful relationships rather than focus on large sponsorships.
We believe in reaching and positively affecting as many lives as possible. This means prioritizing resourcefulness and ensuring that our giving has a genuine and lasting impact on individuals and community organizations. We focus on building meaningful relationships and supporting causes where our contributions make a tangible difference rather than solely seeking high-profile sponsorships. So, we don’t want to be the $25,000 Platinum Sponsor or even the $5,000 to $10,000 Silver Sponsor at formal galas seeking to raise large sums from local corporations. Instead, we’d prefer to give $500 to $1,000 to ten organizations, schools, athletic programs, families, or other events where the funds will still be impactful and meaningful, and where we can hopefully cultivate a lasting relationship with them.
