Seeking a Community Engagement and Marketing Coordinator to enhance StretchLab's brand presence, engage the community, drive membership growth, and promote wellness through innovative events and marketing strategies.
Job Overview:
StretchLab is seeking a dynamic and creative Community Engagement and Marketing Coordinator to enhance our brand presence, engage the community, and drive membership growth. This role is ideal for someone passionate about wellness, marketing, and community connection, with a knack for creating unique experiences and fostering relationships.
This position requires traveling to all studio locations to develop and execute impactful events, marketing strategies, and community partnerships that align with StretchLab's mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:Member Appreciation & In-Studio Events:
● Plan and execute weekly member appreciation events for each studio to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
● Collaborate with studio teams to design engaging introductory experiences that attract new prospects and showcase StretchLab's services.
● Celebrate member milestones (e.g., 100th session) with small rewards, shoutouts on social media, or in-studio recognition.
● Plan surprise giveaways (e.g., branded water bottles, towels, or discounts) during sessions or events.
● Organize “Member of the Month” awards with a spotlight on social media and perks like free merchandise or complimentary stretch sessions.
Community Engagement:
● Represent StretchLab at local events such as farmers' markets, wellness expos, and other community gatherings.
● Act as a “door opener” by identifying and establishing relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community leaders to foster brand partnerships.
● Develop grassroots marketing campaigns that align with each studio’s unique community needs.
● Establish exclusive member discounts at local businesses and reciprocate with in-studio promotions for those businesses.
● Host charity events or donation-based classes to support local causes and build goodwill within the community.
Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing:
● Establish and maintain relationships with local businesses to create mutually beneficial partnerships, including corporate wellness programs and promotions.
● Develop and implement cross-promotional activities to reach broader audiences.
● Offer discounted memberships or introductory sessions to local businesses as part of their employee wellness plans.
Event Marketing and Outside Initiatives:
● Host free pop-up stretching sessions in parks, community centers, or apartment complexes to introduce the brand to new audiences.
● Organize themed sessions or events around holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving Gratitude Stretch or Summer Solstice Mobility) to engage members and attract new leads.
● Develop a program to participate in corporate wellness initiatives by hosting on-site workshops or stretching demos at local offices.
● Set up mini StretchLab demos at local gyms, malls, or festivals to showcase the studio’s offerings and collect lead information.
Social Media and Content Creation:
● Create and manage engaging social media content that promotes events, sessions, and the StretchLab lifestyle.
● Share live videos of special events, introductory experiences, or Q&A sessions with Flexologists.
● Collaborate with studio teams to capture and share member stories, in-session highlights, and studio features.
● Run social media contests (e.g., “Post your favorite stretch and tag us to win!”) to engage followers and reach new audiences.
Strategic Marketing and Ideation:
● Research and identify innovative opportunities to increase StretchLab’s visibility in local communities.
● Provide creative input on marketing campaigns, studio events, and promotional strategies.
● Work closely with Flexologists to create dynamic event themes or experiences that cater to specific interests (e.g., athletes, beginners, or seniors).
Member Surveys and Feedback:
● Conduct regular surveys to gather feedback on what members want and use the insights to improve events, sessions, and studio experiences.
Collaborative Wellness Partnerships:
● Partner with other local fitness or wellness businesses (e.g., gyms, yoga studios, or nutritionists) to offer collaborative events like workshops or wellness days.
● Partner with chiropractors, physical therapists, or personal trainers to host informational sessions or workshops in the studio.
● Create a directory of wellness partners for members to access services complementary to stretching and mobility.
Qualifications:
● Experience: Proven experience in community engagement, grassroots marketing, or event planning. Experience in the fitness or wellness industry is a plus.
● Skills:

○ Creative thinker with the ability to brainstorm and execute new ideas.
