Compensation: $17.50/hour, 16 hours per month maximum

We’re looking for a motivated and personable Community Outreach and Partnerships Specialist to build and maintain relationships that drive impactful engagement within the DMV area.

Position Overview:
The Community Outreach and Partnerships Specialist will be responsible for forging relationships with medical professionals, community organizations, and social groups to secure partnerships, referrals, and outreach opportunities on behalf of our clients. This part-time role involves engaging with key stakeholders and identifying meaningful events and initiatives to promote client services both in-person, offline, and online.

Responsibilities:

Partnership Development:

· Build and maintain relationships with medical doctors and healthcare providers in the DMV area to secure referrals for our clients.

Community Engagement:

· Work with assisted living facilities, churches, and local organizations to identify and secure opportunities for community outreach and events.

· Research and recommend outreach events and activities aligned with client goals.

· Coordinate logistics and provide feedback on community engagement efforts.

Networking and Social Pitches:

· Create compelling social media pitches to engage networking groups and other relevant audiences.

· Represent clients at local community events when needed to foster relationships and drive awareness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in community outreach, partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a talent for building relationships.
• Knowledge of the DMV area, including its community and healthcare networks.
• Must be able to travel locally within the DC, Maryland and Virginia area
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple outreach efforts effectively.
• Comfortable creating social media pitches and engaging with diverse groups.
• Experience with healthcare or senior-focused industries is a plus.
• Access to reliable transportation for local travel as needed.
