Community Relations Liaison

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, marketing, business administration, or related field; minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare business development/marketing; knowledge of behavioral health and Substance Use Disorder treatment principles; valid driver's license with clean driving record.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Community Relations Liaison plays a crucial role in connecting patients to care by building relationships with community partners and driving growth for CleanSlate's services in addiction treatment.

- High-quality medication-assisted treatment (MAT) led by physicians and licensed medical providers in a convenient outpatient environment.
- Hand-on care, providing our patients with psychosocial support and intensive care coordination with a wide network of partners in every community.
- Individualized mental health support, through one-on-one counseling, peer support or group sessions.
- Maintain in-depth understanding of clinical programs, service offerings, and locations.
- Establish relationships with Employee Assistance Programs, hospitals, treatment centers, therapist, physicians, organizations, VA, and/or military to serve as a referral source.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and clinical leadership on business development, strategic relationships, and outreach opportunities with the community.
- Collaborate with team members to improve performance and best practices.
- Build new relationships with addiction and mental health providers, advocates, facilities, and organizations.
- Execute on a minimum of 6 quality referral engagements per business day in our markets.
- Utilize our CRM tool to manage and measure our referral contacts, activities and engagements.
- Ensure relationships are established with professionals that can refer when appropriate for MAT services.
- Strengthen preexisting relationships between CleanSlate and other providers, advocates, facilities, and organizations, and ensuring efficient referral pathways.
- Ensures a personal understanding of the players and resources within the community and those entering it.
- Identify opportunities, (e.g., speaking events, clinical tours, clinical meetings, conferences, etc.) for CleanSlate to position itself as a subject matter expert and present said opportunities to local CleanSlate dyad leadership teams.
- Manage a forward calendar of at least 2 weeks of scheduled meetings and events with community partners and team members to discuss referral opportunities.
- Manage Community Outreach budget, creating analysis for Return on Investment when allocating funds to community outreach opportunities.
- Any and all other tasks or projects, as assigned.
- Education: A Bachelors Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of behavioral health and Substance Use Disorder treatment principles, preferred.
- Experience working directly in the Behavioral Health field
- Experience with establishing relationships with hospitals, EAPs, treatment centers, therapist, physicians, organizations, VA, and/or military.
- Licensure: Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to retain automobile liability insurance at the minimum level required by state law.
- Additional Requirements: Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
- This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities.
