About the role

Tort Experts is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead and oversee marketing and operations compliance with local/national laws, ethical standards and regulatory policies within the legal marketing space. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for performing regular audits and designing control systems to minimize risks. They will help develop and maintain the policies used for all marketing operations.


The ideal candidate will have experience with all digital marketing platforms and methodologies including knowledge of black and grey hat techniques. The ability to identify and address potential risks with non-compliant tactics in the media buying and affiliate marketing sector will be crucial for this role.


What you'll do

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with all aspects of legal marketing operations, with a focus on TCPA regulations
  • Monitor allowable traffic types and assess traffic and lead forensics to identify any compliance breaches
  • Ensure publisher creative compliance by developing guidelines and standardizing the approval processes
  • Oversee and regularly audit third-party data transfers to ensure that all data-handling practices are compliant
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on compliance standards and practices
  • Ensure adherence to Do Not Call regulations and complete regular audits of DNC lists and systems
  • Implement and manage seed sowing strategies to identify any potential violations within marketing campaigns
  • Manage compliance related documentation, ensuring accurate records of investigations and corrective actions
  • Analyze and report on trends in compliance breaches, developing proactive solutions to address recurring challenges

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, or a similar discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management, legal marketing, paid media management, affiliate marketing or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of TCPA compliance, privacy laws, and industry standards in the legal marketing space
  • Proficiency in industry trends, laws, and regulations
  • Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • In depth technical knowledge or browser and mobile tracking techniques
  • Proven ability to manage multiple compliance initiative simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of working with affiliate networks and monitoring affiliate activities to mitigate compliance risks
