Compliance Policy, Training & Communications Analyst
LOCATION
Hybrid (3 days in the office, Tuesday - Thursday; 2 remote days, Monday and Friday)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Finance, English, or Marketing preferred, experience in a financial environment, exceptional drafting and writing skills, strong understanding of consumer finance regulations, and analytical thinking abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Draft and revise compliance policies, coordinate policy discussions, prepare policy reports for board meetings, review customer communications for regulatory compliance, develop and improve regulatory training, maintain Company documentation, and support continuous improvement of policies and procedures.

Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for those consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Compliance Policy, Training & Communications Analyst to support our Compliance team.
The Compliance Policy, Training & Communications Analyst is responsible for mitigating Company risk and ensuring adherence to compliance policies.
***CFC offers a hybrid work schedule which includes three (3) core days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two (2) remote workdays (Monday and Friday)***
Essential Functions:
- Draft and/or revise policies with input from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Coordinate policy revision discussions, maintain revision versions, and maintain relevant documentation.
- Support the drafting and updating of Company documentation and processes.
- Prepare policy reports for quarterly board of directors meeting.
- Review customer facing communications and marketing materials for risk and regulatory requirements and track status of reviews and approvals.
- Develop, customize, and improve regulatory training with internal and external stakeholders regarding consumer finance regulations.
- Maintain policies and procedures on the Company’s SharePoint website.
- Assist with continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and training.
- Maintain Company training calendar and prepare reports for senior management.
- Train compliance team on internal processes and procedures.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices for training and content.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Finance, English, or Marketing preferred.
- Experience working in a financial environment.
- Exceptional drafting and writing skills.
- Ability to understand and distill complex business practices or regulatory requirements.
- Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to provide sound, ethical advice on a broad range of business issues.
- Strong understanding of consumer finance regulations.
