Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a Part-time as Needed Construction Project Assistant , to support our Construction Team, Project Managers, Marketing Professionals, and Project Administrators within our Resilience Water Business Area in Boca Raton, Florida!
The position is on a Part-time as Needed (PTAN) basis, which means the hours assigned will vary depending on the workload in the area. This is a flexible hybrid role requiring one to two days a week on-site and other work can be performed remotely. This is ideal for an individual looking for that level of flexibility.
We are looking for an energetic Project Assistant who will be responsible for supporting our construction teams in the field with day-to-day tasks. Project specific work will include regularly working one day per week at a construction site field office preparing meeting minutes, managing correspondence files and reports. The work will also include working remotely arranging team/project meetings, checking expense reports, preparing and distributing and filing routine correspondence and documents related to the project.
Role accountabilities:
This role offers opportunities to work on diverse project and administrative assignments. The candidate in this role must be comfortable in performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing various software tools and systems.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Working on a construction site approximately one to two days a week managing project files, inspection reports, and other data, scheduling meetings and recording and transcribing meeting minutes.
- Assisting staff with setting/scheduling appointments, making meeting arrangements, reviewing project documents and expense reports.
- Completing edits to reports and other project correspondence as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of technical/administrative experience.
- Experience working at a construction site or with an engineering consulting firm.
Key Skills/Attributes:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications particularly Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under time constraints to accomplish goals and objectives in a timely fashion.
- Ability to tackle a wide variety of diverse assignments simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe.
- Proficiency and experience with ProCore and eBuilder.

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
