Job Description


Come join a high performing marketing team and make an impact on the lives of patients! The MAVYRET consumer team exists to help reach, educate and motivate patients to seek treatment. The marketing manager will have an opportunity to contribute to all aspects of MAVYRET consumer marketing, including gathering insights, creating new tactics and optimizing a significant media plan. The marketing manager will be responsible for leading agencies to develop best-in-class marketing that resonates with patients in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager will work closely with multiple commercial operations teams to ensure success in the development of strategy, creative and execution plans. Internally, the Marketing Manager will foster positive working relationships with the sales force, medical affairs, medical review, market research, sales training, regulatory review, business analytics, paid media, the Digital Lab and other cross franchise teams.

Externally, the Marketing Manager works with various ad agencies, consultants, and other vendors to successfully drive the business. The Marketing Manager must demonstrate the ability to lead without authority, while building a collaborative, integrated commercial brand team.

The Consumer Marketing Manager will lead a variety of projects that build consumer awareness of and engagement with MAVYRET.

Projects include:

  • Optimize website in partnership with digital agency and digital lab
  • Lead social/digital creative execution, including Facebook, Instagram, Reddit and programmatic campaigns
  • Develop point of care and out of home campaigns
  • Lead yearly media briefing and planning process
  • Partner with analytics, media and Digital Lab teams to optimize media investments
  • Manage patient testimonial agency
  • Partner with insights team to conduct patient and messaging research
  • Evolve printed materials including brochures and posters
  • Future leadership of yearly cross functional brand planning process

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant brand marketing experience; consumer marketing experience preferred
  • Competency in core marketing capabilities such as creative development, positioning, optimization across the marketing mix
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including timeline and budget management
  • Ability to understand medical/clinical aspects of a pharmaceutical product and its application to marketing strategy and tactical execution


Preferred
:

  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing omnichannel digital marketing programs, including: audience identification, messaging development, media planning, creative development, and campaign optimization
  • Experience working with and managing multiple external agencies including creative, digital, and internal cross functional partners.
  • Experience leading yearly brand and media planning
  • Ability to influence senior management
  • Demonstrated ability to work within regulated industry

Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience.
