QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field; 1-2 years of content marketing/strategy, copywriting, or communications experience; knowledge of mortgage industry; exceptional communication skills; strong attention to detail; project management experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and create marketing assets, conduct audits of content, communicate updates to stakeholders, coordinate with creative teams, ensure project deadlines are met, archive marketing materials, and support the Channel Growth Marketing team with initiatives.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Content Management Specialist is responsible for managing, creating, and updating marketing content to ensure accuracy and compliance with UWM brand guidelines, working closely with various internal teams and stakeholders.
- Managing external-facing materials to ensure UWM’s brand, products, tools and technology are accurately represented
- Creating new content for assets to support internal teams and clients as needed, with a focus on writing initial drafts and outlines based on stakeholder needs
- Conducting daily/weekly/monthly audits of content across various marketing and sales assets including website, email and social media templates, presentations, booklets, PDFs, etc. to identify any updates needed
- Identifying relevant channel owners/stakeholders and communicating any content updates based on the latest launches, market updates and other changes, and how they might impact specific audiences
- Coordinating with creative team (copywriters/editors, graphic designers, video producer/editors) to update existing assets or create new assets as needed
- Project managing to ensure deadlines are met, timelines are kept on track, proper approvals are secured from executive leadership and legal/compliance, and assets are delivered as needed
- Archiving marketing campaign and project assets in internal project management platform
- Supporting the Channel Growth Marketing team as needed, including the Sales/Marketing Liaison, Marketing Strategist and Content Management Specialist II, with launches and other marketing initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and/or 1-2 years of content marketing/strategy, copywriting or communications experience
- 1-2 years of mortgage industry or related experience, specifically with understanding of loan product and market knowledge
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with basic understanding of marketing channels
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability with attention to detail, a solution-focused mentality and the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes in direction
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams across the company to gather information, summarize, and communicate concisely and effectively under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-evolving environment – and the drive to proactively communicate changes with internal stakeholders, across levels of seniority and cross-functional teams to build consensus and alignment
- Project management experience highly preferred
