Seeking a talented and dedicated Content Marketing Specialist!

Navix, Inc. is looking for the absolute best and brightest to join our team of dedicated professionals as a Content Marketing Specialist at our home office in Essex, Massachusetts.

The Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist will serve the important role of marketing/social strategies across multiple channels. This position will be responsible for working with our family of companies to implement and execute established social media, blog strategies and marketing activities. The goal will be to grow our social media followers, engage them, and create active fans as part of our family of company’s social community. The ideal candidate is connected with the latest social trends, understands the intricacies of each social channel (and emerging channels), and can execute multifaceted marketing and social campaigns.

Successful candidates should be data driven, have a track record of hands on marketing with emphasis on acquisition and retention, having designed, written and executed on corporate product and service marketing campaigns from the ground up. The chosen candidate must have a history of success creating and delivering innovative marketing programs that drive significant effect of brand awareness and demand. The candidate will be responsible for designing a marketing strategy and then turning the strategy into reality The position will have the opportunity to create awareness of our family of companies via social media, digital media, print media, etc. contributing directly to sales and marketing success. The Content Marketing & Social Media Specialist will report to the COO.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build and improve the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+, and additional relevant channels
  • Social media posting and monitoring
  • Assisting family of companies with outreach marketing
  • Managing numerous blogs, writing, posting, scheduling and social sharing
  • Property website maintenance and SEO
  • Promotional copywriting for email blasts, online banner campaigns, microsites, etc.
  • Manage email nurturing campaigns
  • Manages and responds to comments in the social space; elevates issues that arise in the community when needed
  • Assists with responses to online reviews, as needed
  • Managing ads on other social networks, as needed
  • Will use performance data as a tool to make ongoing recommendations and suggestions to optimize results
  • Creating mock-up ads for review and approval
  • Advising internal departments on appropriate ad spend and targeting
  • Perform regular audits of all social ads and social sites
  • Advise, as appropriate, our marketing, sales and client services team on emerging strategies, trends, and channels
  • Serve as a major "change agent" with the introduction of new marketing tactics and processes that dramatically improved marketing ROI
  • Lead the creation and enhancement of product and service positioning and develop, execute and optimize marketing
  • Directly accountable for devising diverse marketing campaigns utilizing direct mail, email, paid media, social media, and event marketing tactics to focus on affiliate partners.
  • Support the sales team and our partners with content and materials
  • Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition through organic, partner and paid channels
  • Work closely with sales to plan, attend and derive value from trade shows, conferences
  • Develop recommendations for marketing budget and budget optimization
  • Report on the performance of all lead channels (organic, paid, affiliates, webinars, etc.)
  • Work closely with digital team, PR firm, operations, sales and product teams to ensure lead targets are met and all campaigns are executed successfully
  • Develop overall brand messaging and customer acquisition and retention
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-toaction, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize marketing materials, brochures and sell sheets.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Research media coverage and industry trends.
  • Develop fresh story ideas.
  • Manage video content.
  • Maintains and updates business listings for multiple online directories
  • Create and distribute customer surveys.
  • Collaborates with the CRM team to create and distribute email targeted campaigns
  • Design marketing ideas and strategies to support business across multiple media platforms
  • Ensure timely roll out and execution of marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate internally and develop lasting working relationships to brainstorm and implement successful marketing campaigns

Skills

  • Proficient in digital marketing principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO techniques to enhance online visibility.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and video editing tasks.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their integration with social media strategies.
  • Excellent research skills to stay updated on market trends and audience preferences.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various platforms while maintaining brand voice.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, with an emphasis on digital marketing and/or social media
  • Prior experience with social media or content marketing preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong understanding of Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media
  • Above average understanding of basic content management systems (CMS), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • An ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while remaining organized and meeting deadlines
  • Extreme customer-centricity, ability to tease out and build on customer insights
  • Entrepreneurial approach in identifying, prioritizing and executing initiatives in a fast paced context where a test & learn approach is needed
  • Team player who partners extremely effectively across the organization, geographies and cultures, building and maintain strong working relationships
  • Superior project management, team management and stakeholders management skills (i.e. other team internally and partners/agency externally)
