Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging, high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and marketing materials.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, tone, and alignment with brand messaging.
- Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, incorporating relevant keywords and best practices for improved search rankings.
- Maintain and execute a content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content to align with marketing campaigns and business goals.
- Tailor content for different platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging while adapting tone and style to suit each channel (e.g., social media vs. long-form blog posts).
- Research and understand the target audience to create content that addresses their needs, challenges, and interests, driving engagement and interaction.
- Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to align content efforts with broader marketing initiatives and business objectives.
- Monitor the performance of content across channels using analytics tools, adjusting strategies and content to improve engagement and conversions.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s brand voice, tone, and visual identity guidelines.
- Stay up to date with content marketing trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure the company’s content remains relevant and engaging.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in content creation, writing, and editing for digital platforms.
- Experience with SEO optimization and using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar.
- Familiarity with content performance tracking tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.

- Content Creation and Writing: Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences across platforms.
- Editing and Proofreading: Excellent attention to detail for editing and proofreading, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency in all content.

- Audience Research and Engagement: Experience conducting audience research to create targeted content that drives engagement and builds connections with readers.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams.
- Analytics and Performance Tracking: Proficiency in using analytics tools to track content performance and the ability to adjust strategies based on data-driven insights.

- Operational Platforms: Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Google platform, including Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, Chat, and Google Analytics.
