The Content Strategist at VGM Forbin is responsible for crafting engaging online content to drive audience engagement and revenue growth while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and SEO optimization.

Position Summary
As a Content Strategist for VGM Forbin and forbinfi, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing content for marketing campaigns to drive engagement and revenue. Your primary responsibility will also be to create and execute content projects that resonate with audiences across various digital channels that require heavy research. Whether it’s crafting engaging blog/articles, optimizing website content, or developing compelling content pieces, your strategic thinking and love for writing will be key assets.

Work Hours Classification: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities/Duties of the Job

Content Planning and Execution:
- Devise creative concepts and strategies for content across digital platforms
- Create, edit, and publish content that aligns with the company’s business objectives and user needs
- Research and collaborate with industry experts to compile your content
- Craft effective content for websites, blogs/articles, and other online or print sources.
- Editing and proofreading your content as well as other team member’s materials

Brand Voice and Consistency:
- Identify and maintain the brand’s voice and tone across all content
- Ensure consistency in messaging and storytelling

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
- Stay informed about current SEO trends and best practices
- Optimize content for search engine performance

Audience Engagement and Impact:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess content impact
- Maximize reach and engagement while staying within budget constraints

Content Auditing and Editorial Calendar:
- Regularly audit existing content to ensure relevance and quality
- Develop and manage an editorial calendar for future content releases

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and developers to ensure brand consistency
- Communicate content strategies effectively to stakeholders
- Assist with social media marketing and other digital marketing services, including SEO, paid media marketing, and email marketing

Web Content and Quality Assurance
- Assist the UX strategist/web content writer with web content for sites in any industry
- Assist the VGM Forbin/forbinfi team with Quality Assurance on any internal/external project

Reporting
- Report and communicate with clients and/or internal team members to best serve Forbin/forbinfi clients
- Regularly communicate with clients and internal teams to provide insights and updates
Continuous Improvement and Quality
- Own SharePoint program – responsible for research, training, and providing service to clients
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest online marketing/content trends and how to implement them
- Stay up to date with industry news, trends, and emerging practices
- Leverage your knowledge to offer the best information and service to our clients and internal teams
- Leverage online tools, including AI solutions, to maximize content quality and efficiency
- Research, analyze, and make suggestions to our existing processes to enhance value for clients
- Continuously improve reporting on blog services
- Enhance the value we deliver to VGM Forbin/forbinfi clients
Mentorship and Support
- Provide mentorship and support to team members
- Transfer knowledge through workshops and QA content reviews
- Other duties as assigned to support needs of the business
Position Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience as a content strategist, copywriter, or similar role
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console
Physical Requirements:
- Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, misc. office equipment
- Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
- Moving throughout the VGM facilities when needed.
