Think Coffee is an independently owned New York City coffee company founded in 2005. We directly source, import, as well as roast all of our own coffee for our 11 New York City retail locations.

Preserving and strengthening human connection, as well as being as inclusive as possible in an ever-changing, ever-challenging coffee world, is our highest priority. It is also the reason we get up in the morning, coffee in hand, to do what we do.
What we think:
Nearly all coffee in the world today is purchased using methodologies that we think are inadequate to ensure human connection and a sustainable coffee industry. Even if you purchase certified or expensive boutique coffees, there is no guarantee that the people who do the hard work of picking coffee will benefit from your dollars. Our coffee sourcing model ensures a clear, direct connection between the coffee in your cup and providing a fair and livable for farmworkers and makes a positive impact on their communities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate and energetic about Marketing and Communications and looking to jump-start their career.
We are looking for someone who can communicate our brand narrative succinctly, persuasively, and at the right cadence across various marketing channels (social, email, print, in-person activations, etc.) so that it can be easily understood, appreciated, and engaged with.
You will be responsible for developing compelling social, editorial, and marketing content that builds our brand and helps bring our company’s mission to life for our customers. We’re looking for a skilled writer and creative thinker who is equally comfortable leveraging data to drive decision-making about ongoing marketing strategies.
Our ideal candidate will not only be well-versed in digital marketing but will also be passionate about coffee and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
● Work closely with the Brand Director to deliver content needed for social, newsletters, and various marketing campaigns.
● Manage a branded influencer outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to support marketing initiatives.
● Evaluate campaign performance to identify areas of improvement and iteration and produce regular reporting.
● Provide general support with department administration and communication.
Qualifications:
● 2-4 years of related experience, ideally in the coffee industry or for a direct-to-consumer brand.
● Deep understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook.
● An instinctive storyteller with a passion for creating content that connects with audiences and a portfolio showcasing samples of campaign work to prove it.
● Great eye for photography, skilled at capturing and editing imagery for social and other marketing.
● Working knowledge of content publishing platforms such as Klaviyo and Square.
● Well-organized, confident self-starter who is a natural problem solver.
● Passionate about coffee doing good in the world.
● Dependable and collaborative team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
● Comfortable leveraging data and business KPIs to drive creative work.
● Compensation based on experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $27.64 - $32.75 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
