SHORT DESCRIPTION

Content Marketing Manager to execute content strategies that drive awareness, SEO, engagement, and lead generation for Zero Networks.

We’re Zero, a cybersecurity vendor pioneering automated network security. Our platform was purpose-built to fix the way legacy microsegmentation is done (clunky, costly, slow) to provide microsegmentation for all. Our people have been hand-selected to power our product and realize our mission and vision. We are passionate about what we are building, the customers we serve, and the teammates we work alongside.

Our tight-knit marketing team is opening their doors and looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join their ranks.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate Content Marketing Manager to execute content strategies that drive awareness, SEO, engagement, and lead generation for Zero Networks. You will report to and work closely with our Director of Product and Content Marketing to produce the usual and the unusual. We have a lot of fun marketing activities going on and a ton of opportunities to get creative.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing, preferably within the cybersecurity or technology sector.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex, technical information in a clear way to diverse and specific audiences.
  • A highly analytical thinker adept at interpreting complex data and providing strategic recommendations to enhance our content and messaging, repurpose evergreen concepts, and ensure that our audience receives the most accurate and engaging information possible.
  • Strong understanding of the buyer’s journey and how to create content for TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU stages.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing best practices.
  • Enthusiasm for data-driven marketing; familiarity with tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, HubSpot, 6sense, and SalesLoft is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on content performance.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity trends, challenges, and zero trust frameworks is a plus.

A note about the team:

Yes, Zero is building something awesome. But Zero’s marketing team is building something really rare. Maybe it’s the spark of being in the spread-thin trenches together, or the in-person team bonding and strategizing that we get to do across the globe. Maybe it’s the excitement of getting to scale our team in a thoughtful way that gets us closer and closer to a big win. Whatever it is, we’re excited to have this new team member join us, and we urge you to apply even if you don’t feel you tick all the boxes above. The hiring manager of this role is passionate about mentoring strong content manager and writer with SEO chops.

Responsibilities:

  • SEO & SEM: We have an SEO strategy, we have the tools (Semrush), and now we need to produce at scale. You will produce and optimize content for search engines and collaborate with the digital marketing team to implement content-driven SEM strategies.
  • Demand-Driven Content: Produce high-quality, compelling content to drive demand and fuel campaigns, including email nurtures, blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, ABM motions, reports, videos, webinars, social media posts, and more.
  • Sales and Channel Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales and channel teams to create enablement assets, including pitch decks, product one-pagers, case studies, and customer success stories that help communicate the value of Zero Networks to prospects and customers.
  • Editorial Calendar: Create and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of content that aligns with demand needs, product launches, and industry trends.
  • Thought Leadership: Develop thought leadership and influence content that establishes Zero Networks as an authority in cybersecurity and zero trust solutions.
  • Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content, track KPIs, and continuously optimize based on performance.
  • Brand Voice: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand voice across all content, ensuring a consistent and engaging tone.
  • Outreach: Collaborate with PR and external influencers to amplify content and increase visibility in key industry publications and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
