Seeking a content and engagement specialist to drive audience growth and engagement for Blennd, a digital agency, through organic content strategies and community initiatives.

We are looking for a proven content and engagement specialist who has a track record of driving audience growth, increasing engagement, and building online communities. The ideal candidate is a content creator at heart, passionate about digital marketing, and has experience or knowledge in the design, development, marketing, and/or tech space. They are skilled at fostering online relationships that drive engagement and business growth.

/ Key Responsibilities
Content, Social Media & Community Growth

  • Develop and execute Blennd’s organic content strategy across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and other relevant platforms to showcase Blennd’s expertise, client success stories, thought leadership, and culture.
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and engagement.
  • Write compelling copy for posts, blogs, and marketing materials that align with Blennd’s brand voice.
  • Create and edit short-form video content (Reels, LinkedIn clips, behind-the-scenes agency insights) to engage and grow our audience.
  • Actively build and engage Blennd’s community presence in relevant digital spaces, including Facebook Groups, LinkedIn Groups, Slack channels, online communities, and industry forums.
  • Organize and promote webinars, podcasts, and community events to position Blennd as an industry leader and foster deeper connections with our audience.
  • Attend industry events (virtual and in-person) to gather content, engage with industry leaders, and grow Blennd’s follower base.
  • Capture and share real-time event content (photos, video clips, insights) to drive engagement.
  • Engage in social listening and community interaction by responding to comments, messages, and discussions.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, industry partners, and advocates to expand Blennd’s reach and credibility.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and best practices to optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Report on content and community engagement performance, using insights to refine strategies.
Referral Partner Program Marketing & Content Support

  • Develop and execute content and communication strategies to nurture Blennd’s referral partners and drive engagement.
  • Create partner newsletters, exclusive updates, and marketing resources to keep partners informed and involved.
  • Work with leadership to refine and enhance the referral partner program strategy.
  • Identify and activate new referral partners who align with Blennd’s services and value proposition.
/ Ideal Candidate
  • Proven track record of growing audiences, increasing engagement, and building brand awareness through organic content and community initiatives.
  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, social media management, and/or community building, preferably in a B2B or agency setting.
  • Familiarity with the design, development, marketing, and/or tech space, with an ability to create content that resonates with those audiences.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices.
  • Proven experience managing and growing social media audiences and online communities (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook Groups, etc.).
  • Ability to create and edit short-form video content (using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Express).
  • Experience in running and promoting webinars, podcasts, and virtual events is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable attending industry events, gathering content, engaging with attendees, and growing Blennd’s follower base.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for key events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid social, and influencer marketing is beneficial.
  • Self-starter who can take ownership and execute campaigns with minimal oversight.

  • Part-time contract role (estimated 10-20 hours per week to start, with potential for growth).
  • Competitive contract rate based on experience ($40 – 70 / hour).
  • Fully remote, with flexibility in working hours.
