SHORT DESCRIPTION
Looking for a passionate Digital Marketing Coordinator to enhance the Arboretum's social media presence and support digital marketing initiatives.
We seek an enthusiastic and team-oriented digital marketing professional to strengthen our social media presence and support various digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will be creative, adaptable, and passionate about engaging audiences across digital platforms, including social media, website, and email marketing. This role involves assisting with the development and execution of digital strategies, creating compelling content, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. Strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a keen eye for detail are essential. The part-time Digital Marketing Coordinator reports to the Sr. Marketing Manager in partnership with the Senior VP for Marketing and Guest Experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Social Media Management:
- Create, schedule, and publish content for all social media channels maintaining a unified brand voice.
- Attend and provide coverage for Arboretum events, including some nights and weekends, capturing photos, videos, and stories.
- Monitor social media engagement, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather content ideas and ensure accurate representation of Arboretum programming and events.
- Assist with the development and execution of social media campaigns.
- Analyze social media metrics and provide reports on the performance of content and campaigns.
- Stay up to date with current social media trends and tools, incorporating them into the Arboretum’s social media strategy.
- Maintain and build relationships with local influencers and content creators, coordinating visits, collaborations, and ensuring their experiences align with the Arboretum’s brand and goals.

Website and Email Marketing Support:
- Assist with website updates, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the Arboretum’s goals.
- Support email marketing campaigns by creating and sending newsletters, event promotions, and other digital communications.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital platforms.

Digital Strategy and Reporting:
- Assist in developing and executing digital campaigns.
- Analyze metrics for social media, website, and email marketing, providing performance reports and insights for optimization.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in digital marketing, incorporating them into strategies as appropriate.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing communications. Digital marketing a plus.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for nature and conservation.
- Basic understanding of video /reels creation and editing.
- Frequent sitting to perform job functions; occasional need to walk across property
