Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented, creative, and detail-oriented Copywriter to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and experience in creating engaging content that enhances brand reputation and drives conversion. You’ll work on a variety of projects including marketing campaigns, website copy, digital ads, email campaigns, press releases, POP, and more.

  • Brand Voice Development: Collaborate with the SVP of Marketing to refine and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels and content, ensuring a consistent disciplined approach to copy on all consumer and BtoB collateral.
  • Website Copywriting: Craft engaging, SEO-optimized content for various website pages, campaign landing pages, promo modules, FAQs, product descriptions, and more to enhance customer experience and drive conversions.
  • Digital Ads: Assist in writing persuasive and attention-grabbing ad copy for paid social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, etc.), ensuring a consistent and compelling message across platforms.
  • Email Campaigns: Develop email copy for welcome and nurture series, promotions, and newsletters that encourage customer engagement, retention, and conversation.
  • Press Releases & Articles: Write clear and engaging press releases, brand announcements, and articles for media distribution, maintaining a professional tone while staying true to the brand’s personality and tone of voice.
  • Social Media Content: Assist in creating social media copy to engage our online community, seasonal offers, and events.
  • Brand Content: Assist in the creation of long-form content, such as blog posts and articles, that enhances SEO and drives organic traffic.
  • Product Descriptions: Write compelling, benefit-driven product descriptions that highlight the features, fit, material, and quality of our suits and tuxedos.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the SVP of Marketing, Marketing Manager, graphic designers, and the broader marketing team ensuring that copy complements the visual elements.
  • Quality Control: Edit and proofread all content to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency with brand voice.
  • Audit and optimize: Audit existing website, packaging, and current marketing materials to improve copy and elevate to the level of refined brand standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in the fashion, apparel, retail, or e-commerce sectors. Experience with formalwear or lifestyle brands is a plus.
  • Strong Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone, style, and voice to different types of content.
  • Creativity & Attention to Detail: Ability to create engaging, original content that captures attention, drives action, and reflects our brand’s personality.
  • SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to write copy that ranks well in search engines.
  • Marketing Savvy: Understanding of marketing principles, particularly direct response marketing, and the ability to write persuasive copy and CTA’s that motivates potential customers.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience using content management systems (CMS), email marketing platforms, and basic knowledge of analytics tools to track performance and refine content.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.
  • Deadline-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
