Corporate Account Manager
Reports To: Director of Donor Engagement

Salary: $65,000-70,000

Position Purpose
The Corporate Account Manager will oversee the stewardship and account management of high-level corporate donors, cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and work across the organization to identify opportunities to streamline efforts across departments. This position is a key member of the Development department, leveraging their expertise and experience to support overall fundraising efforts and accelerate the team’s frontline fundraiser’s success.

This position supports GK’s overall revenue and brand objectives, with an emphasis on stewarding and executing successful corporate partnerships for long-term retention and growth. The Corporate Account Manager will provide support to leading brand partners, pursuing opportunities to deepen relationships throughout the life of a partnership through successful shared messaging, activations, and incremental fundraising opportunities.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable of corporate social impact practices and trends, as well as familiar with brand marketing, PR, social media, digital, experiential, promotions, and creative to bring 360 partnerships to life.
The Corporate Account Manager reports to the Director of Donor Engagement and works closely with two Corporate Development Officers and an Institutional Giving Officer along with other Development team members. This position works from the Atlanta headquarters with opportunity for a hybrid work.

What you'll do
Account Management and Relationship Building
  • Manage the day-to-day partnership needs, activation, and fulfillment of an account portfolio of corporate, institutional and restaurant partners (known as “partners” through rest of document).
  • Ensure all partner deliverables are met including product and partnership announcements, content, and activations through marketing/communications, and GK review and approval process. Adhere to GK brand standards and policies. Protect and steward the Giving Kitchen and Dining with Gratitude brands.
  • Steward partners in a timely, appropriate and effective way, ensuring all stakeholders have the information they need to be successful in their role.
  • Implement and grow partners to advance GK’s financial, brand and program impact goals. Strive to achieve portfolio metrics with a focus on long-term retention, growth, and collaboration opportunities. Work with Development Officers to seek and develop additional revenue opportunities as appropriate .
  • Work effectively with internal departments including Marketing/Communications, Programs, and Finance to develop and execute partnerships.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to partners, resolving any issues or concerns promptly.

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Work with Corporate Development and Institutional Giving Officers to research, identify and pursue new partnerships. Assist with cultivation meetings or prospecting events with meeting materials, swag, look books, etc. Assist with lead tracking from conferences and other networking opportunities.
  • Create tailored proposals or sponsorship packages to attract and engage partners.
  • Leverage existing relationships to identify opportunities for cross-promotions and collaborative initiatives.
  • Draft and prepare renewal strategies, proposals, contracts, invoices, swag packages for partnership renewals. Handle invoicing for assigned corporate partners.

Campaign and Event Coordination

  • Oversee corporate sponsor activation in GK’s events, campaigns, and programs.
  • Liaise with partners for event tickets, as needed; assist with registration/check-in, as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure sponsors’ needs and deliverables are all fulfilled.
  • Ensure sponsors are recognized appropriately through visibility on event materials, social media, and other channels.

Financial and Reporting Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate partner agreements, invoices, tax acknowledgements, CRM and other relevant systems.
  • Tracking and reporting responsibilities via CRM for financial, holiday cards, event invitations. etc.
Additional Duties
  • Provide support to the two Corporate Development Officers and one Institutional Giving Officer in their frontline fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure that all fundraising materials are in accordance with Giving Kitchen policy and are aligned with proven practices.

The Corporate Account Manager will be joining a professional team and should exhibit strong interpersonal skills in his/her interactions with all staff, Board members, constituents, private corporations, and/or public officials. The Corporate Account Manager will actively promote Giving Kitchen’s mission, services, programs, and events in the community and conduct other projects as assigned.


Qualifications
Qualifications and key Skills:
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate fundraising and/or partnership marketing, including cause marketing, philanthropic support, sponsorship, and relationship management preferred.
  • Knowledge of fundraising and donor engagement strategies.
  • Experience in managing high-profile, complex accounts and partners.
  • A good understanding of current marketing principles, consumer trends, metrics, social and digital platforms, and methodology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, on the phone, and in person. Strong presentation skills that engage and persuade high profile major corporations to support GK.
  • A creative approach to developing new partnership campaigns to evolve with GKs strategic needs.
  • Excellent computer skills. Exhibit strong grammar/proof reading skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Proficiency in working with donor/constituent (Salesforce) database systems preferred. Experience with Classy and/or GiveSmart, a plus.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to rally others to a common goal.
  • Personable, yet professional. Commitment to accuracy, excellent attention to detail, highly efficient and conscientious about thorough follow-up.
  • High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and resourcefulness.
  • Ability to work under and remain calm in the face of continuous and multiple deadlines and evolving priorities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with professionals, peers, volunteers, and those served by the organization.
  • Some nights and weekends required.
