Seeking a Senior Event Manager to lead end-to-end execution of high-impact corporate events for C-level executives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and brand values.

We are seeking a Senior Event Manager to spearhead an exciting portfolio of high-impact events—from large-scale trade shows and corporate excursions to comprehensive company training programs. In this leadership role, you will leverage your extensive background in event planning, vendor management, and logistics to orchestrate seamless, memorable events that align with our brand vision and strategic objectives.

As the Senior Event Manager, collaborate with cross-functional teams in US, Asia, and Germany, you will be responsible for end-to-end event execution—from concept development and venue selection to on-site coordination and post-event analytics. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute company events, including employee engagement activities, industry conferences, client events, trade shows, executive retreats and community outreach ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure all events align with Voltage’s brand values, sustainability goals, and overall mission.
  • Coordinate and attend marketing events, trade shows, and exhibitions as needed, including booking venues, hotel rooms, flights, and purchasing promotional materials.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering high-quality experiences.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, equipment, and materials.
  • Develop relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners to support and enhance Voltage's events.
  • Manage on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all activities run smoothly and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create promotional strategies for events, including online content, social media, and event materials.
  • Handle any issues that arise, from technical difficulties to logistical challenges.
  • Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations, including emergency procedures and on-site risk assessments.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create schedules for exhibitions and other customer-focused events, maintain sample requests, and arrange training seminars.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and proactively recommend innovative approaches.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate event planning and execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate marketing objectives into visually compelling designs that resonate with target audiences.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors or clients.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and solution-oriented approach.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including analytics, Adobe Creative Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
