Capture and post game day content, assist with social media management for home and away games, organize digital assets, support marketing initiatives, and collaborate with the marketing team for content development.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Join the Missoula PaddleHeads as a Creative Content and Marketing Intern to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing and content creation, contributing to marketing and media efforts for the 2025 season.
The Missoula PaddleHeads are seeking a driven and creative individual to join our team as a Creative Content and Marketing Intern for the summer of 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing and content creation while contributing to the success of the PaddleHeads’ marketing and media efforts.
This is a paid ‘For-credit’ internship. Housing provided.
Responsibilities and expectations:
- Honor our working values and participate as part of the team
- Must have pride in and take ownership of the stadium and the fan experience
- Must be self-motivated and able to manage time well
- A passion to work hard and embrace success
- Help maintain and produce video content for our FloSports TV broadcast
- Assist in the development and execution of daily and long-term social media marketing strategies to support the organizations initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok
- While working with the media department, support PaddleHeads social media on for all home and away games
- Support any non-baseball events at Ogren Park Allegiance field and in the community - including concerts, youth baseball and community events
- Capture high-quality creative content during home games, focusing on game highlights, fan engagement, and team moments.
- Post real-time updates to social media platforms, including videos, photos, and stories.
- Support away game social media efforts by curating and scheduling content remotely.
- Attend practices, community events, and other team activities to capture dynamic content.
- Assist in promoting events and initiatives through social media and other digital platforms.
Digital Asset Management and Marketing Execution:
- Organize and catalog photos and videos on a game-by-game basis for easy access.
- Follow through with pre-planned marketing campaigns, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time and effectively.
- Monitor the performance of campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
Creative Collaboration and Content Development:
- Work with the marketing team to brainstorm and create multimedia content that aligns with the PaddleHeads’ brand and goals.
- Research and experiment with new content trends to enhance fan engagement.
- Contribute to end-of-season highlights or promotional materials showcasing the summer’s successes.
Executive Team Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing manager to create plans for each department.
- Stay up to date on all trends and help to plan out content creation with the team.
