Job Description

Our Creative Initiatives Specialist is at the center of the company’s growth, expansion, and development. This person will report to the Special Projects Director and work within a small, business development and creative team. You will be responsible for crafting bold, imaginative business initiatives that fuel fresh ideas for the company. You’ll drive the creation and development of unique, out-of-the-box concepts, collaborating with marketing, operations, accounting, and digital teams internally to turn visionary ideas into profitable realities. You are a creative and original thinker with boundless ideas and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As our expert creative brain, you have a passion for storytelling, and eye for emerging trends, along with the ability to generate compelling concepts that captivate audiences to shape our business objectives.

Duties will include (but are not limited to)

· Generate and develop bold, original ideas for new business ventures, products, and experiences.

· Brainstorm and workshop event concepts that can engage diverse audiences.

· Stay on top of emerging trends in and out of our industry to identify audience preferences and tendencies to guide new rollout businesses.

· Research competitors, analyze consumer behavior, and understand the shifting entertainment landscape.

· Develop creative B-to-B and B-to-C properties owned and executed by the company, while finding ways to take existing B-to-B concepts into the B-to-C space.

· Create strategic proposals and business models from start-to-finish for new projects, ensuring feasibility and profitability.

· Develop compelling pitches and presentations to secure buy-in from stakeholders within.

· Enhance the brand’s narrative by development initiatives that reflect and amplify its core identity.

· Use storytelling to engage new audiences.

· Track the performance of implemented concepts and initiatives, gathering feedback and data to measure impact. Use insights from your findings to refine future projects and continuously optimize strategies.

· Create and present regular briefings to CEO and Special Projects Director, as well as an annual report to company at conclusion of the fiscal year.

· Evaluate existing partnerships, concepts, and properties with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.

· Oversee initiatives in the charitable and impact areas by sourcing and cultivating relationships and building bold ideas for where the company can give back.

· Manage key client relationships while working aggressively to build new ones.

· Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.

· Foster and work to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.

· Identify and recommend new services that the company could employ.

· Travels, as needed, to meet and secure new accounts and attend meetings, conferences or conventions.

· Fulfill requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prefer 3+ years in creative events, experiential marketing, and/or business innovation-based roles. Bachelor's degree in marketing, product development, business administration, or a related field. Must be able to document experience in creative strategy, product development and experiential related areas. Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred. Candidate should be a hands-on, confident, aggressive, self-starting, outgoing, inspired, analytical, organized, process-oriented individual with superior communication skills. Must have good phone skills, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to participate right from the start. Familiarity with Office 365 (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook and other similar platforms), Sharepoint, and other related programs is a plus. Candidate should be able to work in a home office environment. Travel will be required to support the needs of the company including attending events, conferences, meetings, and the like. The role will include some work on nights, weekends, and some holidays to meet the business need.

Compensation

Annual salary. Range: $45,000 - $60,000 USD

Work Location

Remote working environment. No relocation is required.

All staff members at company work independently and remotely from their home market.

Each staff member is prepared to travel to events or meetings, as needed.
