City Experiences is seeking a Creative Services Director to oversee all creative operations and drive the creative vision for its portfolio of brands, ensuring impactful marketing efforts and team leadership.

About the Opportunity:
The Creative Services Director is responsible for the creative vision and all creative operations across City Experiences and its portfolio of brands to support business goals and brand development. The right candidate will bring their creative expertise and experience to maximize efforts across the marketing eco-system, including branding, advertising, digital marketing, content creation, and more. This role will oversee the creative process, manage a team of creative professionals, work with external partners, and collaborate with internal stakeholders on creative needs. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and inspirational leader who will take our creative output to the next level as we grow our organization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Spearhead and manage creative strategy and vision for City Experiences and portfolio of brands, including City Cruises, Walks, and Devour Tours.
- Oversee marketing campaigns from concept to completion, working closely with Senior Director as well as key marketing stakeholders and integrated media teams. Outputs include high volume of display ads, paid social, web banners, video, OOH, email, print, collateral, and more.
- Lead and review all creative production, providing creative direction and guidance on all projects, including art, design, copy, and video, ensuring that deliverables meet the given objectives.
- Produce impactful, innovative work that translates multi-faceted needs into compelling assets.
- Manage and motivate team of designers, copywriters, project manager, and freelance support including video. Inspire creative and strategic thinking and ensure top tier work is produced on brief and on time.
- Own and manage the creative process, including project timelines, creative reviews, and final delivery.
- Oversee new content development, including photo and video shoots, externally purchased content, digitally enhanced/AI developed content, etc.
- Own the content library, including Digital Asset Management system, video library, and other resources, in partnership with Content Marketing Manager.
- Collaborate with analytics team to assess the impact of creative work and opportunity for optimizations.
- Manage creative resources, including internal team, freelancers, external agencies, digital platforms, AI tools, budgets, and more.
- Stay up to date with creative trends, technology (including AI tools), and competitor landscape.
- Support relationships with external partners and agencies.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of related experience with 5+ years of creative management in agency or corporate setting
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, or related field
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
- Experience creating marketing campaigns from developing vision and messaging to overseeing production on time and on budget
- Understanding of and experience with integrated content across all marketing channels, including mobile-first
- Experience in producing full range of media types, including all digital, print/OOH, and video executions
- Experience leading presentations and discussions with various audiences, including senior leadership
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritize work, and manage deadlines
- Strong team management skills
- Experience with design and creative production
- Project management experience and holistic understanding of the creative process
- Working knowledge of industry-standard design tools and software
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
- Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative
