Creative Technical Writer/Copywriter
LOCATION
Mid Florida, Florida (Contract position with potential needs in New York, NY, and Rolling Meadows, IL).
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Customer Marketing or Customer Reference programs, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, solid understanding of B2B marketing fundamentals, and ability to create communication materials.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking qualified Creative Technical Writers, Copywriters, and Content Strategists to develop and maintain documentation and communication materials for diverse teams.
Location: Mid Florida, Florida
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $35 - 45 per hour
We are building a pool of highly qualified candidates in New York, NY, and Rolling Meadows, IL, for our client's needs in 2025. Our client has informed us that they will be looking to hire qualified Creative Technical Writers, Copywriters, and Content Strategists. The specifics of the roles will vary depending on the teams being supported. Below are the skill sets that will set you up for success in the opportunities listed above.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with SMEs, process owners and end users to craft documentation, job aids, SOPs, process guides, and training guides.
- Take materials developed by others and extract relevant content for the user community.
- Craft original materials as processes are updated and refined.
- Develop and maintain approved templates for the documentation.
- Create user stories and support the team in developing user stories in JIra for the COP backlog.
- Support the semiannual attestation of all documented processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Customer Marketing or Customer Reference program developing B2B case studies with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify and write compelling narratives for customer pitches and briefs.
- A solid understanding of B2B marketing communication fundamentals (channels, audience, content types, messaging) with a digital-first mindset.
- Develop and execute communication plans for technology change initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders to identify communication needs and develop targeted messages.
- Create and distribute communication materials, such as emails, newsletters, and presentations.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
