Minimum of 6 years of related design experience in the retail space, ideally with beauty/skincare multi-brand retailers. Proficiency in Sketch-Up, VRay, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Figma. Strong project management skills and experience in interpreting brand strategy.

The Creative & Visual Merchandising Senior Manager will lead design initiatives for DECIEM's brands in the Americas, ensuring alignment with global standards while adapting to regional needs and trends.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
In partnership with Global Creative Design and Regional Brand teams, the Creative & Visual Merchandising Senior Manager, Americas will be responsible for driving the delivery of all regional Visual Merchandising, Creative and Strategic Design Initiatives for the Americas region, while ensuring brand values, aesthetics and global vision are adhered to.
This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office.
The NYC salary range for this position is $96,069 USD to $115,000 USD annually depending on experience and qualifications.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Act as a key partner between North America teams and Global Creative Design Team to stay abreast of Global Design and VM initiatives which could influence North America solutions
- Build a strong partnership and collaboration with the brand marketing team and cross-functional support teams
- Using your solid understanding of planograms and the consumer journey, along with you’re your ability to adapt to business needs, to upkeep a high standard and consistency of brand design guidelines
- With your solid understanding of North Americas regional needs and key retail players (ULTA, Sephora), you will oversee all deployment and implementation of VM and Creative programs including, but not limited to, hard fixtures, prototypes, regional guidelines, as well as planograms for all fixture iterations
- Consistent monitor disruptive retailer designs and current beauty and lifestyle trends
- Work closely with retail partners, display vendors, engineers, and multiple internal brand teams to ensure best in class visual merchandising displays, optimizing navigation and education on all touchpoints
- Resize, adapt and repurpose regional assets from Global toolkit for retailer specific or national campaigns
- Demonstrate your ability to act quickly to create the translation of assets (where applicable) for production to be delivered to key retailers
- Support digital creative programs through adapting global assets to regional brand strategy for deployment in a variety of channels (paid media, OOH, retailer.com, etc)
- Anticipate brand and business needs, face reality with accurate sense of urgency, generate conclusions, and mobilize to adapt to changing needs and demands
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- You must have a minimum of 6 years of related design experience in the retail space, ideally with beauty/skincare multi-brand retailers (Ulta, Sephora, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task and execute several projects in a timely and efficient manner; must be able to follow projects from concept to completion, with heavy focus on quality execution and design production.
- Knowledge of technical drawings, project management, materials and manufacturing processes
- Software Skills: Sketch-Up, VRay, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign & Photoshop, Adobe After Effects (or any other video editing software) Figma.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and influence; especially while presenting to groups of individuals at various levels of seniority. Experience with people management
- Proven track record in interpreting brand strategy in a growing environment with full-scope project design and project development experience
