About the role
What you'll do
Marketing Campaign Development:
- Work directly with the Head of Growth to plan, build, and manage automated marketing campaigns across email, mobile push, in-app messaging, and cross-channel platforms using tools like Braze.
- Create personalized and segmented campaigns to enhance customer engagement and retention.
- Ensure all campaigns align with brand voice and objectives for both Fantasy Life and Guillotine Leagues.
- Support the Product Team by developing campaigns, triggered flows, and promotions that deliver against revenue, conversion, engagement, and retention goals
Data Strategy and Planning:
- Design and implement data plans for marketing tools that ensure efficient collection, segmentation, and utilization of customer data.
- Map user journeys and lifecycle stages to identify key touchpoints for engagement.
- Analyze campaign performance data to refine strategies and optimize results.
- Utilize email performance metrics to develop insights and make improvement recommendations including formatting best practices.
Platform Management:
- Maintain and optimize marketing automation tools, with a primary focus on Braze and Mixpanel.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and platforms.
- Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent campaign delivery.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:
- Work directly with the Head of Growth on strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with leadership to define and prioritize campaign goals, KPIs, and timelines.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep campaigns innovative and effective.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive continued alignment on campaign priorities and execution.
- Engage with all levels of the organization, most notably Product and Content, to ensure all groups are up to date with marketing strategies and vice versa.
Reporting and Optimization:
- Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing and experiments to optimize engagement metrics.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on campaign performance and outcomes.
- Maintain customer journey documentation and keep key stakeholders informed
- Proven experience with marketing automation tools, particularly Braze or similar products.
- Strong understanding of email marketing, mobile push notifications, in-app messaging, and cross-channel marketing strategies.
- Experience creating and managing data-driven campaigns with a focus on segmentation and personalization.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience in the fantasy sports or gaming industry.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and customer lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to derive insights from complex datasets.

The pay range for this role is:
80,000 - 110,000 USD per year(Remote)
