The Institute of Digital Dentistry is seeking a motivated Customer Support Specialist to support and enhance customer experience in online education for dental professionals, with a strong emphasis on sales and relationship building.

Job Overview

We seek a motivated and passionate Customer Support Specialist with sales experience to join our growing team.

This role will be instrumental in supporting our customer experience using our learning management system and handling purchase inquires and platform access help. You will also assist customers with information about our live and online courses and follow up on new leads.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong sales and persuasion skills
  • A strong understanding of dentistry and the dental industry
  • A passion for technology in dentistry
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with dental professionals
  • Experience using CRM software (preferred)

Working hours for this position will mostly align with USA time zones.

Responsibilities - Training will be provided

  • Engage with potential customers to promote and sell iDD's live and online courses
  • Provide comprehensive support for online course sales, including answering inquiries and assisting with the purchase process
  • Help customers with course access issues and technical support
  • Collaborate with the content, marketing & platforms team to ensure successful delivery of services
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales data in our CRM system
  • Create and maintain CRM Automations under guidance and update CRM technical details where required
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback and conduct surveys
  • Assist in providing customer feedback to assist the development of courses, sales materials and product knowledge resources
  • Stay up-to-date with iDD's course offerings and digital dentistry trends
  • Participate in dental industry events and trade shows (if required)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales and support processes
  • Coordination of scaling and leading a customer support / sales team (potential future growth)

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working in a dental office/clinic/lab (Dental Assistant, Technician, Dental Insurance, Treatment Planning areas)
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or customer support, preferably in the dental or education industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Spanish)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with dental professionals
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Google Workspace
  • Basic understanding of digital technologies and e-learning platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying current with industry trends
