As a Department of Defense Sales Manager, you will lead the sales of innovative products to the U.S. Military, focusing on building relationships and tailored sales strategies, with uncapped compensation tied to performance.
Summary:
As a Department of Defense Sales Manager, you'll spearhead our entry into this new market segment. You'll be responsible for selling our innovative products across all branches of the military, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain high-level relationships with key decision-makers across all military branches, understanding their unique needs and positioning Arctic Compressor as a solution provider to establish our brand within the U.S. Military.
- Develop and implement tailored sales strategies for each military branch, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Pursue sales opportunities for our entire product line, focusing on their value as long-term capital assets. Sales typically start at $25,000-$30,000, with substantial potential for larger contracts.
- Use our CRM tools to track sales activities and collaborate with internal teams, enhancing communication and deal closure efficiency.
- Strategically attend defense industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote Arctic Compressor and drive revenue growth.
- Navigate government purchasing models and vehicles such as GSA, TLS, DLA, and others.
- Identify and leverage areas where competitors may not fully meet military needs, positioning our solutions more effectively.
- Guide potential customers through our multi-stage sales process, recognizing that many may be making their first compressor purchase.
Requirements & Skills:
- Military background is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude combined with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with government procurement needs and behaviors.
- Highly motivated to adopt proven sales behaviors that bring success.

- Experience selling to federal government agencies is highly valued.
