Manage and troubleshoot paid media accounts, diagnose and resolve performance issues, conduct keyword research, monitor campaign performance, implement strategies for KPI improvement, allocate budgets, create detailed performance reports, and mentor junior team members.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
As a Digital Advertising Specialist, you'll optimize a portfolio of paid media accounts, diagnose performance issues, and implement solutions to enhance client campaigns' efficiency and effectiveness.
As a Digital Advertising Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing a portfolio of paid media accounts across various channels. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing performance issues, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring the efficiency of our clients' campaigns.
This is a full-time, remote, salaried position headquartered in Herndon, VA. Candidate must reside in the Continental U.S., eastern and central time zones preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot a portfolio of paid media accounts across various platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues in campaigns, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to inform campaign strategies and address performance gaps
- Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance across the portfolio, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Implement strategies to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CTR, CPC, CPA, and ROI for each account
- Manage and allocate budgets effectively across the portfolio, ensuring maximum efficiency and impact for each account
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in paid media and digital marketing
- Create and present detailed reports on campaign performance to stakeholders and clients, highlighting troubleshooting efforts and outcomes
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, focusing on best practices for account optimization and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in paid media optimization, preferably managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving performance issues in paid media campaigns across a portfolio of accounts
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions for multiple clients
- Proficiency in using paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic advertising
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Certification in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Google Tag Manager
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across multiple accounts
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and accounts simultaneously
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for campaigns tailored to different clients
- Knowledge of SEO and how it integrates with paid media efforts
Compensation
