The Role
We are seeking a creative and strategic Digital Engagement Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll blend your expertise in digital marketing with a passion for storytelling to elevate the MAC's digital presence and drive deeper engagement with our community. You will lead the creation and execution of impactful campaigns across various digital channels, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the MAC's brand and organizational goals.
This is a full-time, on-site role at our club in Portland, OR.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute digital engagement strategies: Drive member engagement through campaigns that connect people to the MAC brand and boost interaction across digital platforms.
- Lead content creation: Oversee the development, planning, and scheduling of content across our website, social media, email, and other digital channels, ensuring brand consistency and compelling messaging.
- Innovate with new content formats: Introduce fresh, engaging formats such as interactive content, short-form video, and personalized email campaigns to deepen member connections.
- Collaborate with the Technology team: Provide strategic insights to enhance digital platforms, including the website, app, and other tools, ensuring user-centered designs and functionality.
- Optimize digital engagement: Use analytics tools like Google Analytics and Meta Insights to monitor campaign performance, derive insights, and refine engagement strategies.
- Report and optimize: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), report to leadership, and provide actionable insights to improve digital engagement initiatives.
- Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing, communications, or engagement, with proven experience in managing campaigns and digital platforms. Experience in member-driven or community-focused organizations is a plus.
- Leadership skills: 2+ years of team management, with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
- Campaign expertise: Demonstrated experience in creating and executing multi-channel campaigns with measurable outcomes.
- Digital proficiency: Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, and expertise in digital tools and platforms including social media, CMS (WordPress), email marketing tools (Mailchimp), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Insights). Expertise in using scheduling and social media management tools like Hootsuite and Sprout Social.
- Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with a focus on creative and compelling storytelling.
- Innovation & analysis: A passion for staying on top of digital trends, coupled with an analytical mindset to interpret data and optimize strategies.
- Collaborative spirit: A leadership style that fosters teamwork and cross-department collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- Physical requirements: This is an office-based role, with occasional walking between departments and facilities. Ability to sit, stand, and use computer screens for extended periods of time. Some lifting (up to 20 lbs) may be required.
- Schedule requirements: Full-time, on-site position during standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or project needs. Some travel for offsite production or vendor meetings may be necessary.
