Develop and implement social media strategies, create and manage engaging content across various platforms, launch digital advertising campaigns, track and report on campaign performance, engage with the community, and collaborate with other departments while mentoring a team of interns.

Position Overview

HJGT seeks a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing/Social Media Manager to lead and execute our online marketing strategies. This individual will be responsible for increasing brand awareness, driving engagement, and promoting our tournaments and initiatives across all digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to grow our audience and engagement.
  • Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, engaging content across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Monitor trends and analytics to optimize posts and campaigns.
  • Launch and manage a social media influencer strategy
  • Content Creation & Strategy:
  • Plan and produce creative content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials for tournaments, events, and sponsorships.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
  • Digital Campaigns & Analytics:
  • Design and manage digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and email marketing initiatives.
  • Send out various email campaigns through constant contact on a consistent basis
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Interact with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a sense of community among participants and fans.
  • Develop strategies to engage players, parents, and sponsors digitally.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Work closely with other departments (operations, sales, and events) to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.
  • Manage a small team of interns or external content creators as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and advertising platforms.
  • Strong creative skills with experience in graphic design, video editing, and/or photography.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A passion for sports and understanding of the golf industry is a plus.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, remote. Some travel is required.

Salary Range:

$50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
