Experience with digital marketing tools such as Canva, Google Analytics, and Microsoft applications. Familiarity with Drupal is a plus. Ideal candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of branding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage email promotions, create content for customer updates, develop marketing materials, oversee the Book Soup website and social media, utilize Google Analytics for site traffic tracking, and other related duties.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Book Soup is hiring a part-time Digital Marketing Assistant to help enhance their promotional efforts, manage online presence, and drive revenue through marketing initiatives.
Book Soup is seeking to hire Digital Marketing Assistant. This is a non-exempt part-time position, flexibility required. Located on-site at our Book Soup W. Sunset Blvd location. The Digital Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Promotional Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing email based promotional content
- Creating content for weekly customer updates, improving visual impact, and tracking overall effectiveness
- Creating marketing materials and signage
- Overseeing Book Soup website; creating content including video
- Driving internet revenue by adding non-book merchandise and signed books
- Working with site provider (Indiecommerce) to maximize effectiveness of site
- Overseeing website image and social media asset creation
- Overseeing Google Analytics to track website traffic, run reports
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Some familiarity with PCs and with the following applications:
- Canva, Microsoft Frontpage, Photoshop, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Later, and Excel.
- Familiarization with Drupal, Drupal 7-10 a plus.
The ideal candidate must be skilled at Internet practices and applications, self-motivated, creative, and a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. An entrepreneurial mindset is a plus. Strong understanding of the concept of brand, in general, - even better if there is an understanding of Book Soup brand.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.65 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
