Kiefer Auto Group is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to enhance its digital marketing efforts by managing social media, email campaigns, and online advertising strategies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Kiefer Auto Group is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in Eugene, Oregon or our Butler Ford Location in Ashland Oregon. This position works closely with Dealership staff and senior management in developing and maintaining digital assets (social media, email, websites, etc.) throughout the organization. This is a great entry-intermediate level marketing role to break into the fast-paced world of automotive marketing. The right candidate for this role will be a team player who works hard and contributes to the success of Kiefer Automotive. This role requires fluent English, excellent grammar, and communication skills. Ongoing knowledge of SEO/PPC best practices and current web technologies is a must.

DAY-TO-DAY TASKS INCLUDE:

Designing and Creating SEO-optimized Website Landing pages with relevant content or features for potential customers
Run Google AdWords and other Pay-Per-Click Campaigns
Designing and Sending HTML e-Mail blasts to specific and strategic lists of customers
Designing banners and other images or videos for use on the website and in other digital or print mediums
Design and Monitor Performance of Facebook Posts
Design and Monitor Performance of Google My Business Posts
Coordinate with marketing agencies and dealership personnel on advertising strategy and implementation
Oversee other third-party lead providers and hold accountable for goals and performance
Monitor overall advertising performance through CRM reports and Google Analytics
Audit websites for functionality and SEO
Develop and Implement a Social Media plan and schedule
Freedom to implement and take ownership of additional marketing strategies or content creation
Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED DIGITAL MARKETING / E-COMMERCE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Google Analytics
  • Wordpress Website Administration (a positive but not necessary)
  • Graphic Design Experience (Canva or Photoshop)
  • Adobe Premiere Pro experience (a positive but not necessary)
  • Experience optimizing websites for SEO using Google’s standards
  • Social Media experience
  • Some Microsoft Excel experience or interest (a positive for reporting)
  • Basic understanding of HTML for the purpose of sending eMail blasts
  • Strong interpersonal skills required for coordination with dealership management and third-party vendors
  • At least one year of relevant experience; experience in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
  • Ability to work productively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Able to achieve goals with limited direct supervision
  • Strong computer skills, including website administration & SEO
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including targeted and remarketing advertisements (strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite & Google Docs equivalent (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required.
  • Familiarity with Google AdWords campaign management (preferred)

COMPENSATION FOR MARKETING COORDINATOR INCLUDES:
  • $16-$20/hr (TBD based on experience)
