We are currently seeking a digital marketing associate to join our team! Those who are comfortable with e-commerce/digital environments with attention to detail will be comfortable in this position. The right candidate will have an enthusiasm for e-commerce, consumer experience, and excellent time management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while remaining positive and detail oriented. We are looking for an analytical mind who loves to design and evaluate trial-and-error campaigns but also has the creative skills capable of organic content creation!

OVERALL FUNCTION OF THIS POSITION:

The digital marketing associate will oversee the continued growth of the company through our website and social media outlets. You will be responsible for driving organic web traffic through advertising campaigns (Google, Meta, email, and SMS), developing and implementing website page updates, filming and editing organic social media content, and managing local customer engagements such as artist clinics. Additional duties as time allows will include content management tasks, including digital asset creation, maintenance of product images, attributes, descriptions, and other product content/data associated tasks in support of detailed and accurate e-commerce websites.

AREAS OF FOCUS:

  • Create, analyze, and update advertising campaign structures
  • Identify trends in search engine optimization, social media, content marketing, and online marketing and propose process improvements
  • Build online and local awareness through email and SMS marketing
  • Create digital marketing materials for website content, advertising campaigns, social media channels, and marketing events.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

WEBSITE

  • Create schedule for and execute website content updates via CMS
  • Create landing pages for brands and events
  • Optimize website content for search engines
  • Act as quality control by identifying listing/data issues

ADVERTISING

  • Develop and monitor social media ads – graphics, underlying interests, intentional audiences, etc.
  • Develop Google Shopping ads structure and maintain on a weekly basis
  • Optimize advertising strategies based on budget, target demographic, and desired outcome
  • Create materials for local/print advertisements

SOCIAL MEDIA

  • Develop and manage social media campaigns for both in-store and website traffic
  • Create/film, edit, and schedule industry-specific, engaging posts on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube
  • Create additional strategies for organic content to drive traffic to the retail store

BRANDING COLLATERAL

  • Digital assets
  • Banners
  • Posters
  • Event merchandise
  • Work with brands to implement local advertisements (billboards, print ads, etc.)

DIGITAL MARKETING – Product Data

  • Stock images
  • Features Lists
  • Descriptions
  • Attributes
  • Video (if applicable)

SKILLS:

  • Experience with maintaining website content, Omni-channel Commerce, CRM, CMS, and other graphic design software
  • Prior understanding of Google/Meta advertising campaigns preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills, including social media and website copy. Prior use of AI aids such as ChatGPT is a plus.
  • Some experience with social media channel management and graphic design/photography/film. Specific understanding of Adobe Premier/Photoshop or Canva is preferred.
  • An understanding of guitars, basses, effects pedals, and other technical music knowledge
  • Strong team and interpersonal communication skills – working with family business owners on a daily basis.
  • Must be self-motivated, willing to take initiative, and able to work independently while keeping management updated on progress.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing and completing requests in a timely/efficient manner

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or graphic design (preferred)
