ROLE SUMMARY
Dogtra is seeking a Digital Marketing Associate who will support the Marketing Team in creating, managing, and optimizing content strategies to boost engagement, drive traffic, and improve conversions. The ideal candidate will have experience in repurposing content, influencer collaborations, SEO, and using tools like Shopify, Canva, Excel, and Google Analytics. Attention to detail is required with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing and Strategy and is full time in-office at the Garden Grove office.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
1. Omni-Channel Strategy and Optimization
- Repurpose existing content into various formats (e.g., videos, blogs, social media) to increase reach and engagement.
- Conduct SEO research to identify trending topics and keywords for improved search rankings and conversions.
- Strategize new content opportunities based on data insights and customer needs.
2. Performance Analysis and Conversion Tracking
- Monitor content performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions using tools like Google Analytics.
- Use Excel to organize and report performance data, identifying actionable insights for content improvement.
- Review conversion rates of key content pieces and refine strategies to maximize ROI.
3. Content Creation and Social Media Management
- Write, edit, and produce high-quality content for blogs, social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Use Instagram's in-platform editing tools to create engaging Reels, Stories, and posts optimized for audience interaction.
- Design graphics and assets using Canva and manage content uploads on Shopify.
4. Content Calendar Management
- Maintain and oversee a detailed content calendar to ensure consistent publishing across all channels.
- Collaborate with teams to align content themes with marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal events.
5. Influencer and Content Exchange Management
- Manage influencer collaborations, including follow-ups, content review, and reporting on campaign results.
- Source new influencer and content exchange opportunities, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
- Negotiate and draft content exchange agreements that drive mutual value.
6. Collaboration and Alignment
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and product teams to ensure content addresses customer pain points and aligns with business goals.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers, and external partners to enhance content impact.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred)
- Minimum two years of experience in omni-channel marketing, content marketing, SEO, or social media management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (World, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Shopify, Canva, Excel, and Google Analytics
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast pace surrounding
Preferred:
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
- Experience with Instagram’s native content editing tools (Reels, Stories, filters, text overlays, etc.)
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools
