QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field; 6+ years of experience managing large-scale Paid Search and Shopping campaigns; strong analytical and communication skills; e-commerce experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Refine and execute a digital marketing strategy, optimize marketing mix for customer engagement, develop operational excellence, manage campaign budgets, oversee performance analysis, innovate marketing strategies, and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Job Description
In this role, you will help customers feel good and look their best by adhering to our digital advertising principles: customer-led strategies, emotionally engaging content, performance-driven marketing, and collaborative partnerships. Youll be a core member of a team that expands customer understanding, creates meaningful connections, and drives full-funnel marketing strategies, all while fostering an operational excellence culture and delivering results. Success in this role requires a proven track record of working cross-functionally to deliver results, effective communication, and a focus on achieving ambitious goals through scalable systems and innovative technologies.

Your responsibilities are rooted in bringing your purpose to life. Your focus will be on helping refine a 12-month long strategy and roadmap to deliver on this priority, with a core focus on refining and executing on a 3-month plan (quarter year).

Expand Our Customer Understanding & Reach: Enrich the data for Paid Search and Shopping to create a deep understanding of our customers. You will focus on identifying and engaging our customers at scale digitally. Core to this approach will be growing our digitally marketable customers and creating relevant offerings that emotionally connect with our customer. Starting from ideation and carrying through test design, execution, and measurement.

Develop an Operational Excellence Based Culture: Create efficient, effective, and scalable systems (i.e., processes, tools, meetings, etc.) with internal and external partners to support campaign planning, budgeting, execution, optimization, and reporting. These systems will be rooted in technological advancements including a full adoption of automation and artificial intelligence.

Deliver Results: Deliver on Nordstrom Rack’s weekly customer trip and sales targets within Paid Search and Shopping. This includes driving intra-week reporting and optimization to drive performance. Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance, leveraging multiple data points to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.

Strategic Planning and Campaign Management: Develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans that align with overall business goals and objectives. Lead the development of targeting tactics, including bid adjustments, budget allocation, and audience segmentation. Drive the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Budget Management: Manage budget allocations and financial planning to maximize return on investment. Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and invoicing processes, maintaining a high degree of accuracy and accountability.

Innovation and Trend Research: Serve as the channel expert and educator by monitoring the overarching digital and competitor landscape, surfacing future opportunities and challenges, and presenting solutions to the leadership team.

Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, related field, or equivalent industry experience

Experience: 6+ years of demonstrated success managing all aspects of large-scale Paid Search and Shopping campaigns to specific ROI goals. Experience in e-commerce is preferred.
- Analysis: You have strong critical thinking skills coupled with a bias towards action to anticipate and navigate the constantly changing marketing and retail landscape. You are skilled in using marketing platforms and analytics tools, including Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, GA4 and Tableau to analyze campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Leadership: While you do not directly support a team, a proven track record of leading team members through example and influence. Ideally supporting a business that drives $100M+ in demand annually.

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $80,000-$155,000 annually This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
